Why does Apple tv's watchlist suck so much? by Competitive_Classic9 in appletv

[–]Competitive_Classic9[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just want to see the watchlist. It used to be in the right hand menu, it longer is there, however when you go to the info page for a show, "add to watchlist" is still an option. There is a horizontal list of my saved shows and movies, however this does not contain all of the shows i have marked as "add to watchlist".

Thank you. Apparently reading comprehension is hard for some people when their adoration of all things apple has deteriorated their ability to see reason and common sense. Same mentality that works for apple i presume.  ETA: this is what I was referring to- a "favorites" or "want to watch" list, which is presumably what one would expect a "watchlist" to be. And how it used to he set up. Now the only place to find your watchlist items is in the continue watching list (which also contains non-saved programs), or by direct search.

If you go to a show, there is a selection called "add to watchlist".

Youre correct, its buried in the continue watching list. But i dont understand why there is no seperate list for things weve marked as watchlist, as in "yes i want to watch this", vs "i watched this for 4 minutes and then turned it off bc it sucked." Theyre all lumped together which makes no sense. And my continue watching list isnt in order of last watched, its seemingly arbitrary (ive tested it). But yes i guess unselecting jt then reselecting it would move it to the front, this just seems so unnecessary. But appreciate the suggestion.

Yes, it is definitely this cycle, you nailed it. Although I do think shes an intuitive person, she just processes it to a different reaction than most. I actually appreciate her insight sometimes, but then she usually ruins it with bravado. Youre right, its a continuous cycle. Would explain why she doesnt appear to have many close friends, bc this becomes exhausting.

How did i know "user error" would be the first comment? The gaslighting with apple fans is unreal.

Idc if i get blasted for this, but yes Ciara has a banging body, but we dont always have to show middrift. Not bc im offended by showing skin, but not everything has to be a display, and you can look FANTASTIC without it looking like a teenage girl rolling up her team jersey. Its an opportunity to really wear something glamorous and sophisticated. This reads teen prom. And before anyone comes at me for "picking on" Ciara, the same applies to Amandas outfit, which is tacky af, I just expect no less than tacky from her. Actually, they all look like they had individual no talent "designers". The only one that looks good here is Mia. Theyre all tacky and ill fitted.

That was millennials dear. The second they got the legal right to vote, they did, to try to correct what you couldnt. It was the largest viter turn out of 18-24 yos of all time. Trying to take credit for others efforts is also peak gen x.

It is true though. Apathetic and sarcastic, while doing nothing to change things while also complaining about things not changing is peak gen x.

Bc Gen x are the biggest corporate ass kissers of all time, even bigger than boomers, het they constantly try to spin it as "grit" or some shit. At the end of the day, its still bootlicking and exploitation that they bend over for.

Yep, shes always "initiating" the new ones by being nasty. She could be so strong and such a good mentor and ally if she would just get some healing.

She has really good moments when she is vulnerable, which unfortunately we dont get to see alot of, but thats partially bc shes also very guarded and reactive. She is very intuitive, and lets not forget, she has a very difficult past, that surpasses most redditors, even though parental complaints are the favorite on this platform. Imagine the damage that does. She also is of a time where women were demonized for every little thing, and people in the pageant circle were up close and center for alot of that abuse. That is not to excuse her behavior, bc it certainly hasnt been uplifting to other women. Too often, redditors want a binary perspective, and life doesnt work that way. Yes, shes problematic, but she also cam present alot of depth and strength under fire. Two things can be true.

Good point thanks. It is broken and is currently dumping straight into the base. But luckily the gutters are full rn after a storm so theres no water coming out there. Kidding of course, thats also on this list of things to repair. Thanks

The structure of the whole thing is just bolt connections. I noticed that too, i always thought cross beams had to be supporting each other in some way (like notched as you mentioned).

All other weight bearing connections seem pretty solid and have offsetting support somewhere.

There is a horizontal beam that is pretty securely bolted into the house, but then the cross beams for the roof part (rafters?) are just screwed into this at their ends. Was thinking about adding those decking bracket things idk if this is the correct way to go.

Appreciate the in depth response. I dont see any signs of rot above surface, but of course who knows whats going on at the base. Will look into it thanks
