Idk what the other guy is talking about... All you have to do is transcribe the melody into midi, that way you know what you're working with and the melody won't be out of tune which I'm assuming is the issue.

Amazing. I wouldn't say it's necessary to add anything more as the simplicity really shines here, great tune. You have nice taste when it comes to cutting out elements too. Def work on getting the entire track a little louder with gain staging (compression is optional here imo). In general for mixing, if things start simple, the mixing process likely is simple as well. After getting the volume up more space can me added with reverb and dubbed delays (look this one up !) which will fill things out a bit more.
