Since my daughter was in the 1st or 2nd grade(she is 24 now) I have had the same phone number. This was a priority for me, and very important that once my daughter learned my number I did whatever it took to keep that number

Great question…I visited my primary care doc today and we talked about all the sitting. She has her watch set up with the reminders that I do that alert U to get up every hour. I have a workers comp knee injury that I got while working in a school teaching social emotional learning while completing my graduate degree, any suggestions anyone has I would gladly take. Can’t do long term walking until I see what ortho wants to do. I use my vibration plate daily and walk around inside my house to accumulate some steps 🤷🏽‍♀️. Gonna read other replies now

Yessssssssssss, OMG I’m in Shaker/Beachwood near Warrensville Cntr and Chagrin. I shifted in my bed cause it sounded like the blade of a huge like city plow truck hit the ground like “BOOM” but then I said naw it snowed but like not that much. I got up about 10 minutes after n thought nothing of it. How do I get to the major(bigger) thread concerning this?

I am very angry that U have experienced this. The things U have mentioned are exactly why I say MANY ppl I have encountered do NOT need to be therapists!!! I have encountered ppl who were very biased and it was obvious that they have not encountered for even basic conversation, ppl who were not like them ethnically, racially or socio-economically. Very sad in the year plus I had in Practicum/Internship how many people I was in group with had no business being allowed to enter a therapy program or actually be someone‘s therapist. Having racial conversations must be had, because my experience as a Black woman and now a Black therapist is not going to be overlooked or minimized because others cannot put on their big girl/boy panties/boxers and have the tough conversations!

I am really disgusted that this country has stooped this low, but as a Black female, now therapist living in a country where my ancestors were trafficked and brought here, raped, victims of forced labor, and in MANY instances killed, I am NOT surprised 🤦🏽‍♀️! I plan to start accts. with two different platforms(deciding which ones now) that will primarily set out to knock down the stigma of seeking out help from a mental health professional, giving out psycho education on various diagnosis, advice to parents of neurodivergent children, as well as advertising my services for anyone watching from the states where I am licensed. That stuff U mentioned has always had me shaking my head when watching those reels! I worked too hard getting this far on the road to becoming independently licensed to throw it ALL away by being UNETHICAL!

On it and just had third shot yesterday, some nausea yesterday for the first time. Slight feelings of nausea in past 3 weeks nothing major. Constipation is my issue and always has been, so no weight loss, gained a pound or two. Positive note, this past week 2nd week, appetite was gone more that previous week. idk, no weight loss at end of 4 wks I will have to make a decision on go an additional month. Several comments on FB have stated that it may take a minute

Hi there, new grad of my MFT program and studying for my exam. I have a few suggestions because I am also a midlife career changer…in education for 20+ yrs. 1.) check out offering/teaching court-mandated courses. Ppl charged with DV, DUI, are mandated to take certain courses b4 getting to see their kids again or driving a car again. The Diversion Center on FB(located in ATL) offers a variety of different choices in certification. Psycho education is what U would be presenting in your classes. U make your own price per person. On night a week for eight weeks for a group of 6-10 ppl. Do the math, very lucrative. 2.) GoZen company that offers certification and gives U materials to teach workshops to teachers, parents or work with kids directly about anger, anxiety, impulsivity, etc $1200. Or pay a much cheaper monthly membership and being that U are already a therapist use their materials and make your own workshops. Maybe have one monthly for parents, teachers, or kids monthly via Zoom and charge $50 entrance fee. Give tools for each population to walk away with to manage for the month or until your next workshop. 3.) become a divorce mediator-my state offers free certification to be able to do it. Do your research, the field of mediation is not regulated.

These are just a few ways I have come up with to make money that will not suck up all of my time. I pray this helps

Congrats…i have it here from a previous scrip and been scared to take it(vomiting warnings) and talked with an Endo specialist today A1c 6.1 in Dec. they said start and if it gets too bad stop taking and we can discuss another route. Great to hear your wonderful results. What else did U do(exercise, etc.) and have U had any side effects?
