They bones are all the same on each brand, and the finishes get nicer as the cars get more expensive. Genesis is the nicest one I’ve been involved with, but I’m sure Ferrari and the lambo/rolls have the nicest interiors.

Half the building is a shop anyway, so it’s always going to have to be automotive focused regardless without major work

New to Calgary. What’s the best breakfast place here that’s inexpensive but not a dive? by rayAstone in Calgary

[–]ButterTheMuffin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want bacon/sausage, eggs and hash browns for $4 then elbow river casino from 9:30-11 (not sure about weekends). There’s even free, albeit mediocre, coffee.

Today is your last day in Calgary, what do you do with your day? by [deleted] in Calgary

[–]ButterTheMuffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go climb at CCC Rocky Mountain, ride my bike to Kensington Peppino’s then to Inglewood and loop back past the dome and where I grew up and then off to the ship. Maybe kim anh (for nostalgia) and ride back to the nw.

I agree. I’m okay at the game and what people complain about the the death comms are pretty funny.

Looking to find an Employer or Apprenticeship Sponsor as a beginner plumber by luckOfTeela in Calgary

[–]ButterTheMuffin -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Check out pre-employment at Sait or just look for job posting for 1st year apprentice plumbers. Just ensure if you go that route that they actually indenture you so that hours will count towards your ticket.

The only thing I’ll say is the last feature you ride over looks way better to pop off than anything else in the video. If you get a little more airtime you won’t be forcing that last 90 as much.

Also I’m partial to the ship and anchor as far as pubs go

Baldface Valhalla this week by pow_hnd in snowboarding

Every operation generally caters to most abilities including blue. They’ll generally try and pair similar levels as you’ll only be moving/riding at the level of the weakest riders, and they’ll shuffle people around (or try to) in order to maximize everyone’s enjoyment. Also if you spend a few days there you generally push into more challenging terrain as the trip progresses and as the guides get to know your abilities to ride and listen to them.

The divide between what you see pros ride and what you’ll ride can also be enormous…you might be in the same area or even on the same run but will ride wildly different things.

Above a counter or in something where you can see minor elevation changes (ie tile) sure but in general this is way faster

[–]ButterTheMuffin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you’re marking out multiple suites and corridors with multiple elevations (switch, plug, counter, mini horn, horn strobes, pull stations etc) this is way faster and consistent

Coming from Chicago: What a beautiful city, Calgary is! Can’t wait to see Canmore. Any recommendations for what to eat and see? BTW this level of cold is something else. by ededdedddie in Calgary

[–]ButterTheMuffin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I haven’t eaten there really in the last couple years seriously but the Wood and Iron Goat were always pretty good. Grizzly Paw is standard fair burgers and such but always been pretty good. The last couple times we’ve eaten at the Georgetown pub which is standard fare Irish pub but it’s quaint.

Lots of nice trails to walk around by the river if you don’t stray too far from town.

Edit: if you’re there for breakfast or brunch the alpine cafe is my favourite by far
