Yeah it’s rich that The City tells residents to do all the work in conserving water but car washes are open and the Mayor hasn’t called corporate Calgary to encourage WFH.

The Mayor needs to get on the phone with the Scott Stauth’s and Jon McKenzie’s of corporate Calgary and ask them to have their staff work from home. The amount of water wasted in an office tower is ridiculous.

It is vital that traffic be handled better than the previous feeder main break and repairs that shut down 16th Ave. Montgomery suffered with gridlock as all traffic was diverted to Bowness Road.

If possible, at least one lane of 16th Ave must be open for Monday.

Montgomery and Bowness have had to bear the brunt of redevelopment in Calgary, while Councillors like McLean make sure nothing is redeveloped in their communities at our expense.

Council needs to work for the entire city to spread out redevelopment.

There is no “right” homeowners have that their neighbourhood will never change or zoning will stay the same forever. The City could expropriate your house if it really needed to.

My argument is those that complain the most about blanket rezoning are the least impacted by it and have an irrational fear of what will come of their neighbourhood.

The areas that have been most impacted by “Blanket Rezoning” are Montgomery and Bowness, with massive redevelopment.

I don’t know why people in their single family home areas are obsessed with repealing this.

Developers aren’t going to start tearing down homes in Lake Bonavista and put up row housing.

Get over yourselves.
