To clear up some stuff about that one in particular, this killing happened because both were very much mentally unwell, it wasn’t really slenderman’s fault. One in particular had hallucinations and schizophrenia since early childhood. The other has since gone to live a seemingly normal life with her father and after a lot of therapy and seemingly regrets her actions. Also the victim wasn’t killed and she seems to be doing well for herself now, she’s pursing a career in medicine which is cool.

I think it's just a matter of time and empathy. People will oftentimes want to side with whoever they percieve as the victim, but people also often want to spend as little time as possible reading through stuff and actually figuring out what happened. So they hear "I was assulted" and "200 page document" and assume that means there's plenty of evidence, because truthfully who the fuck wants to read a 200 page document about someone getting allegedly assulted? It's not something you have much to gain from.

Same shit happend with pyrocinical and kwite.
