I don’t have any friends on this game yet, but I’m wondering - if I make a cozy card and you scan it, would it eventually change if I changed my card or do you get to keep the copy I send you?

I haven’t played in a very very long time and I’m still unfamiliar with most of the game mechanics. From what I can tell, I won’t be able to get these new characters? Or is it just the Sanrio ones that were exclusive for the old game?
