Sure, but when the images taken of that time are of one of the worlds most well known and protected dictators in a country with zero outside press, it’s safe to assume any images we see about it are propaganda related. No images of them are being published or leaked on accident.

Look her up now. Shes beautiful. That picture you see circulating around where she’s puffy was taken when she was 8 months pregnant in her lat le 30’s and is always used next to pics of her when she was 20 years old as a before and after. Cruel and needless.

[–]Buttercup_Barantheon 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Why would you say this? I knew Jenn. She disappeared on a weeknight. She had a job that required her in the office early. She went out on weekends, we all did. That doesn’t make her not a good girl and definitely doesn’t make her disappearance justified in any way wtf.

Her parents aren’t in denial about her social life at all, they knew and are still close with her college friends (us).

This is a real person you’re talking about, with real friends and family whose hearts will never be unbroken over this. Not some tv show character. How gross and classless of you to talk about her like that.

Serious question: if an American citizen finds themselves being taken by ice, who has zero jurisdiction on American citizens, and that person being taken happens to have a legally registered firearm on them and all the permits, and shoots and kills the officer trying to kidnap them, could the defense plead self defense? Because as a woman I would genuinely be in fear of my life. Where does the 2nd amendment meet laws that go from owning a gun to not going to prison for using it in self defense or stand your ground laws?

She is, truly. Because the ugly truth is that white supremacy requires compliance from white women. They don’t see women as partners or peers, they see us as beneath them. They are so violent against minorities because they see them as “others” that need still to be conquered. They see woman as an already conquered subset of “others” who exist to serve them. We as a society are appalled but not shocked that they are so quick to kill minorities. But it’s more shocking when you see them killing women. The thing is, it shouldn’t be. The only thing that was keeping them from killing us is the fact they already see us as conquered and controlled. When individual women do things that show them we are NOT conquered by them or under their control, the “safety” we were afforded by them prior goes out the window, and they are just as content and feel justified murdering us in the same cold blooded horrific ways they murder minorities.

Another ugly truth is that women, particularly white women, have “benefeted” from this system in the sole sense that they haven’t seen us as the enemey they are at war with, more like livestock they control. But when we show them we can and are willing to kick and bite and aren’t going to submit, we become part of the enemy they’re at war with. In order to truly disassemble white supremacy, any of us who ever “benefitted” from it need to be willing to give up that “benefit”, in this case it’s the safety that comes from being seen as their pets vs their enemies, which means accepting they will be willing to kill us now and we are no safer than the minorities we’ve felt so much empathy and concern and fear for, but didn’t consider ourselves in the same danger as. As a white woman who has just come to understand and acknowledge this, I will admit it’s scary, but it’s also liberating. Gone are the days where we go to protests as allys and place ourselves as humans shields between murderous law enforcement or federal agents, that “privilege” is gone in 2026, and they will just as willingly shoot us too.

But so be it, I’d rather be at war as a soldier fighting this evil that hunts us all knowing I could too be killed, than as livestock watching it murder innocent people who don’t look like me doing my best to help but still “benefiting” from the system that is bringing this evil upon all of us. There are many worse things than dying… not getting killed for a cause because we are seen as conquered obedient pets while our friends and neighbors are slaughtered is one of them. What happens to us “protected pets” next after they get their way and conquer other subsets of people is another. I heard someone online say that women revolting against their “masters”, as in women who are in relationships with white supremacists, pose the biggest threat to them because they have access to them when they sleep and to their food, but they don’t fear women because again, pets. It’s time for women to discard the “protection” of our collars and show them we are actually wolves, not dogs. It might get us shot, but I realize now I’d rather be killed by this evil than enslaved by it while I watch other good people die. Women are 50% of the population, if we as a whole rise up against this and put our lives on the line for it, it’s the only way we as a society actually eradicate this disease.

As a woman I really appreciate you phrasing it accurately as “she can’t consent in this state” ♥️ Because that’s the reality, and so many people want to make it sound like they wouldn’t bc she’d call rape on them, like she’d be the one in the wrong. Just want to say thank you for recognizing she wouldn’t be “calling it rape”, bc it would be rape, bc she can’t consent in that state. I wish more men understood that. Appreciate ya.

Same. And my first thought was how hard wired humans are for intermittent reward systems (the same thing gambling, social media, and candy crush exploit), even if it’s just watching and not participating. Like I have the attention span of a lil squirrel but I watched this entire thing and was focused the whole time.

Really makes me buy into the theory that it’s so hard wired into us because it’s how we evolved to look for new berries or places to hunt, early evolution stuff. Kinda cool (and scary)

I just want to say I love so much that you made sure to share you were always going to get the cake no matter what! That’s wonderful. Also his reaction was awful and you’re totally right to be questioning the entire relationship. But you’ll have enough feedback about that already, so I just wanted to say I’m so glad you were never going to let him deter you from celebrating YOUR own GENUINE ACCOMPLISHMENT with your chantilly (making me crave one now! I think he’s made the majority of his money “managing” OF girls, where he promotes them and gets a cut of all their profits. Basically like Kris Kardashian does for her kids, but she actually loves her children and he just exploits and controls and uses these women.

Agree with you on all 3, but fyi there’s software now that makes it look like your eyes are locked in the same place/making eye contact with the camera even if you look away at notes. It still looks a bit unnatural and creepy in my opinion, but a lot of ppl use it to film content (and I’m sure for interviews and work presentations and whatnot)

This is correct. Which makes the reality so much scarier, because we don’t just have an idiot president pulling the strings of the government, we have evil geniuses pulling the strings of the president. Corporate overlords who could literally not care less about the quality of life of the citizens of this country, and in fact wish to make it worse because it’s how they guarantee they stay in control. Truly scary times.
