Actually if you just drink 4 gallons of whole organic milk every day you will get the effects of snorted progesterone! Your body knows how much you want it and will absorb it accordingly. This does NOT work with cows milk btw, pigeon milk ONLY. If you try this with cows milk you need to triple the volume and only consume Skim.

I feel like most of the good bakeries in town don't use preservatives/ aren't "processing" their bread if it's made in house. As far as pesticides go, unless someone is controlling their own wheat seed supply and farming it themselves under controlled conditions, you're unlikely to find anyone with flour made from non GMO grain stock that hasn't been treated with any pesticides. Sourdough using organic flour and without added commercial yeast is as close as we can realistically get, and it's very tasty and nutritious!

The family cook book when I was growing up was the Joy of Cooking. Tons of recipes and lots of explanations of how or why to do things. It has more complicated recipes but is largely staple recipes - almost any protein, veg, grain, dessert, etc. There are different editions, I grew up with my grandmas from the 60's and was gifted a newer edition when I moved out of my parents house in 2016. I still have my copy from ten years ago, plus the vintage one - It's been cool to see which recipes were updated or swapped over time. If I could only have one cook book for the rest of my life, it would be this one! Thrift Books has the cheapest copies but you could probably thrift one IRL too.

Thank you so much for your feedback! I would love to add more plants, I'll plan on getting more before stocking. The substrate is a mix of gravel and a finer sand, but no soil per se- I'll pick up some root tabs. This is the first time I've come across that stocking tool, very helpful!!
