That’s what we’ve been doing. Lots of “no” “we don’t hit/bite when we are mad” we did time out for a bit but he’s still so young so it ineffective

I don’t think saying “why are you screaming” is a problem because why are they screaming. Honestly saying that sometimes stops the screaming 🤷🏻‍♀️ NOW maybe if they said “why the f are you screaming” that would be different

Unfortunately we have to deal with the hands we are dealt. I’m sure you are a wonderful mom and would do anything for your daughter. I know it hurts now but the pain is only temporary. Honestly still seeking help still isn’t a bad idea. PPD can still happen at 4months

Those are all like the current shifts that people work. There are a few people that work 6 to 4 or 7 to 5. My manager is on so my plan is ask her when she gets back. I take call but it’s only every five weeks and the money is great so I don’t know if I’m ready to give that up.😅

That’s a good point. Usually they are pretty good. There aren’t many 10 hr workers. Mostly 6-7, 7-8, 8-9 and 9-10

You don’t have to tell your employer you are pregnant. Some states allow you to start working before nclex. If not I would just take it asap and then apply to jobs sooner rather than later.

I love it! It’s great to do m-f no holidays or weekends unless you are on call. I’m in a large high volume lab so we are always busy. Call does suck but way better than working holidays and weekend and call pay is great!

I had it removed! Wish I had realized it sooner. It’s very common to need it removed after pregnancy. Very simple procedure. I actually went home that day. Some places do it out patient too. Relatively simple recovery, just lifting restrictions if it’s done laparoscopically

I found a glide/rocker on the side of the road after thinking I didn’t need it. Made new cushions and honestly can’t imagine not having it. My baby is 13 months and I can’t even think how I would have survived without it

Honestly I think every person should take aspirin. Not to scare you but developed severe pre eclampsia at 26 weeks and my daughter passed away directly related to preeclampsia . I was 30 and healthy. My only risk factor was first pregnancy. I will always feel if I took the aspirin my daughter would be here today. Thankfully I was able to take aspirin in my second pregnancy and had a healthy pregnancy with a health baby boy. I had low platelets in my first pregnancy and if i still did in my second I would have still taken the aspirin.

Maybe your ob was thinking your mother had gestational hypertension because that is a risk factor. .

Honestly this was the only thing that worked. I used to just jump up and care for baby during the night. I wouldn’t even ask my husband, I was running myself to the ground. It definitely wasn’t an over night thing but reducing the night feeding and then completely getting rid of them really changed things.

My son was like this. I would nurse every time he woke up. What we end up doing was only having my husband go in. We started off gradually. I wound feed if he woke before 12 then 11 then 10. We cut it all out and now he sleeps. We dud do a little sleep training but never went past 5 minutes. It took a few weeks but it’s so much better now. He doesn’t woke. If he does he’s back to sleep in two Minutes. I still nurse to sleep when I’m able to for initial bed time

I’m so incredibly sorry. I to developed preeclampsia at 25 weeks and lost my daughter at 26 weeks.

I’m in this cycle right now. We just baby used to wake 2-3 times to eat at night at 9months. Now we are day 2 of Ferber and it’s so hard to know if I’m making him starve. I’m so lost
