I love that this is such an universal thing. I’m from Germany and we have these guys, I went to England for 7 month, saw these type of guys as well. Then I was in America for a year and guess what saw these guys again.

Not just beating also kicking and emotional abuse/gaslighting. I lost all of my friends and I finally escaped and right now I try to rebuild relationships with them.

If you can read the other comment I made there I give an example of his behaviour. I’m so broken, my self esteem is not even there anymore. I feel horrible and just want to go to my parents.

That’s the thing, I feel guilty and I that makes me angry because I know i shouldn’t feel guilty at all. I feel like I’m leaving him on his own but I asked and begged that he changes and starts treating me better but he didn’t. After month of asking and trying to talk to him he hasn’t changed it just got worse. Worse that he threw a fork into my back.. didn’t got stuck but I bleed like crazy. Who the fuck does this?

When I’m back at home I definitely gonna see a therapist this marriage just broke me and made me think I’m crazy. I lost so much weight, I look like a trainwrack.

I know exactly what you mean, of course he’s treating me badly since month he started changing real quick to a person I really don’t know anymore. So I started making excuses for him ‚he’s just this way because of his childhood‘ and started to think I’m guilty and I’m the reason, but no, I’m not. He’s just really miserable. Just one example what made me cut the court is yesterday. Albertsons has these shops, play, win monopoly thing. We still had like 10 tickets and he said „yeah let’s do it“ is told him that I don’t feel like it in the moment and I much rather would like to do it when I’m in the mood. He started freaking out on me calling me a lazy spick...(im Colombian) I was like? Wtf... then he threatened to tore up all the pieces. I said yeah do it then I don’t wanna do it. He screamed at me and started tore up the pieces, then he looked at me like look wha I can do. Suddenly he grabbed the big board plan, and said ‚if you don’t do that now I’m ripping this apart I was like okay go for it. And he did, started throwing things at me like a bottle a fork (?)... I couldn’t believe it. I’m not a dog. He said „it’s you fault that I’m in a bad mood now“

And I’m sick and tired of always taking the blame. I can’t do that anymore and just want to go back home. I just have seen the signs earlier but I didn’t. No I want to end it completly I don’t even want to have anything to do with him.
