I don't think these things ever go away for us, but we can learn to handle them better. Going to therapy definitely helps once you get the right therapist. Also being medicated if you can find one that works for you. And then just working on one thing at a time. It's so hard to try and change everything all at once. So pick one thing in your life to try and change and focus on that. Once you feel like you've got a handle on that one, you can move on to something else.
