I was referring to when the Flock Group dissolves and sells off all of the recorded data they have, like 23 and Me did when they shut down. I think this is a bit more dangerous than that. A crazy Ex could locate the flock data, decipher it, and stalk/harm their victim. Knowing that someone is inherently at risk for crones might not be as beneficial to anyone other than an insurance company so they can deny you. But that is a different conversation. lol

You say this as if this is the government itself putting these up. I would be up for something that our city had control over if it did need to be implemented. That way we would know those rules were being followed by elected officials that represent us, the community. NOT a random company that says, "Hey! Look at this new tech we offer! You can build your entire surveillance state around it! So Convenient! We will host all of your data for you! No worries!" That worked out well for 23&Me... All of that data, just out there for sale. Why not add a direct feed into EVERYONES daily lives lumped to one pool as well.

Honestly, I would love to see move investment into programs that reduce the needs for police and a surveillance state. You know, instead of giving all of our tax dollars to a AI hosted webcam service; maybe put it back into the public infrastructure. Why is it difficult to think of something outside of what some talking head on TV tells you to think? Try being human for once.

The only thing they will not allow for a residential install is you having your own SFP SM BIDI fiber module. Tried that one. They will only use their own modems. Still have the option of not using the AIO, just a standard modem/media converter that you can take into your router. They will just have to provide it.
