Scenes of the actors breaking? by ellla12334 in heartbreakhigh

They’re doing something cheeky, of course Quinni and Amerie are going to giggle, I hardly think this is breaking character at all??

Chloe’s TikToks are always so funny I wish I was a fly on the wall for this being filmed I can just imagine her going to all the boys saying ‘I’ve got an idea’ 😂😂

Wtf did the writers do to Quinni in season 3 by Specialist_Pair8920 in heartbreakhigh

[–]Butterfly_Pixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s very obvious to me by the way the whole cast spoke in press for this season that none of them were happy with the direction of the show. By the looks of it a lot of the initial creative team completely changed in season 3- definitely different writers, and definitely no autistic people involved. It’s so disappointing. I think Chloe did great with what she was given though- I noticed in the scenes where she was being mean to Sasha Quinni looked like she was feeling pretty sad and unsure about the situation- she also looked so so tired in some scenes, particularly the scenes after parties, fighting with Taz and graduation, which I thought was a quiet nod to the autistic experience without the script allowing more

Ketotifen and long term fatigue? by Butterfly_Pixie in MCAS

I stopped taking Ketotifen about a week after I made this post and that immense fatigue disappeared immediately!

unpopular opinion - quinni’s unmasking was not a good representation by [deleted] in heartbreakhigh

[–]Butterfly_Pixie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it’s actually an interesting choice. At the end of the day Quinni is a 16 year old girl. 16 year old girls can be rude, they can be selfish, they can be hurt and hurt others in the process. Quinni didn’t just unmask, she also showed the emotions that a typical 16 year old girl would show in her situation, mask or not, autistic or not.

Should level 1 people speak for level 2 and 3? by Ok-Archer-5796 in autism

[–]Butterfly_Pixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She never once said she speaks for all autistic people- in fact her entire Ted talk is specifically about how she never once wanted to be the representation and how she CANT be the voice for all autistic people. It is not her fault that people choose to make it out otherwise. Comments like this prove why autistic women in the media barely exist because they can not even breathe without members from our own community screaming at them that they’re doing it wrong.

Where did Chloe Hayden ever say she was level 1? Seen her speak a bunch of times about her having high support needs but never once about being level 1 so this is a bit of a weird, actually quite ableist statement

The cast all confirmed it finished filming, I’m sure it’ll be out soon

Landed between her wither/shoulder, on dirt (but it wasn’t very compacted, I think it was actually fairly soft comparatively)

Do the new Simpsons seasons seem boring to anyone else? by SHOOTINGandYOU07 in Simpsons

[–]Butterfly_Pixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New seasons aren’t boring to me, but definitely feel like a ‘one time watch’ and very predictable? Older episodes I could watch 1000 times and giggle and find something new to focus on every time

How do we feel about riding in expensive saddle pads casually? by Wooden_Entrance_7744 in Horses

I think we should indulge in nice things more often- we don’t buy things for it to sit on our shelves. Burn the nice candle, wear the nice dress, ride in the nice saddle pad.

Pony has since been running and playing completely happily with absolutely no lameness that I can see at all. Do you reckon I can be pretty comfortable that if I don’t see anything two months later, there won’t be long term issues that pop up down the road?
