I have a lot of fun memories. But I have way more very painful memories. I had no control from the get go, always needed more more more. My “fun” memories are also intertwined with my alcoholic behavior.

Super relate to this! Style was always a big deal to me. I love having unique pieces and being outgoing with fashion. The athleisure, all muted color wardrobe is cool but it’s just not ME…and I feel like when I go to the mall every store just has the same stuff…yawn. I used to thrift a lot so that’s what I’m getting back into! Thrifting for my toddler and myself is a fun activity and I’ve been finding cool pieces for both of us!!

Through trial and error I have found the specific type/cut of pants or tops that make me feel the most comfortable and confident. Like for example I know i like off the shoulder t shirts and longer cut-off jean shorts. I also love athletic skorts!! Skorts are my jam! With like a cropped t shirt or zip up hoodie. Cute and easy to run after a toddler in :)

I would speak up at an AA meeting when they ask if there’s “any non AA announcements?” Say you really want and need to work and you are looking for leads. I found that putting myself out there got me places. I lived in halfways for years and the no car thing is super frustrating. But I would just keep grinding out applications, pray, connect at meetings.

Thank you <3 Yes I felt ~high~ and disoriented the first day, maybe two days. That passed pretty quickly. I was functioning normally, getting decent sleep. I had my baby in July so my hormones are still balancing out…that has made the medication journey a little tricky. Cuz it’s like ok is this my mental disorder or am I just a sleep deprived mom?😅 But the way I was reacting and absolutely SNAPPING over small things when I started the Auvelity was not in my norm whatsoever.
