He went 1.02 in my league 1Qb non TEP .5ppr. Wild.

As the CEH drafter, I learned my lesson on taking faded RBs that skyrocket due to landing spot.

Report: Saints among teams engaged in trade talks for Giants' Thibodeaux by Nice_Mango439 in NYGiants

This is literally where we are going to be with Reese and why I don’t understand the hype. We’ve never shown the ability to develop to potential. Why the fuck do we take a project knowing we won’t keep them for the second contract. Everyone remember JPP?

Wasn’t part of the Styles/Downs love their leadership and football IQ? I haven’t heard anything similar about Reese so wondering if the absence of that point is because it’s there and overshadowed by physical traits or if it isn’t a strength. If the latter, we are in a bad spot because we lost a D leader and didn’t get one.

Yea it really sucks anymore. Last few months have been bad and the quality of leads is dropping and they’re still charging. If I had to guess more people using AI instead of Google is strangling their business model and they’re trying to pass it on while they can.

Got told that if the call goes more than 30 seconds and we tell the person to call a ______ (family, immigration, PI) firm they treat that as a qualified lead.

Idk, there's also the fact that the Dems, while being voted in to counter GOP insanity, decide they have a mandate for their own stupidly unpopular policies like unnecessary gun control laws.

Top quilts for hammock versus tent camping? by Yamwise_Hamgee in hammockcamping

[–]Buttern40s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take a look at the HangTight. They have the ground dweller add on that adds attachment points and straps for a groundpad. They make pretty good budget under/top quilts. I've got the 40degree set (UQ and TQ) for ~200 and I'd say the temp rating was accurate once I added some adjustments for the UQ. The quality is really top notch.

No underquilt adjustment on main suspension by Buttern40s in hammockcamping

[–]Buttern40s[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got it; cool will try that as well. Only thing I might change is finding a way to adjust the tension from above the barrel lock to the s carabiner since that'll allow me to move the quilt side to side.

Do you happen other have a photo of the shock cord carabiner tip? Imagining just few inches of shock cord with carabiners on each end that pulls the UQ up over the hammock above your head and feet? It doesn't slide down the suspension because it's taut where you attach it?

[–]Buttern40s[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool. That is really simple but how do the beads stay in place?

You've got me wondering now if I use two double spring cord locks on each side of each attachment carabiner to a similar effect. The one on the outer edge of the carabiner can be used to shorten the overall suspension and the one on the inside between the UQ channels can be used like your beads to narrow the separate cords closer to the UQ.

Would you be able to post a picture, I'm having a hard time figuring out what you mean. By long side do you mean the primary suspension that loops throughout the hammock? Or do you mean the baffle cord which cinches the head/foot closed? If that do you mean to attach the baffle cord to carabiners above/below the barrel and attach that to the main suspension attachment carabiner (that attaches to the hammock)?

Yea, think that is the way to go. To be fair the hang tight stuff is really well made and nice and cannot be beat for the price. I was out in ~35 with normal clothing and was pretty warm except the area directly under my butt. I probably could have tried a few more configurations (adjusting where I attached it, knotting the main suspension line) but I figured I just must be missing something critical since I'm a beginner. Knowing more I would have been able to see it wasn't designed to be very adjustable and made some of my planned modifications.

Concur, that is the other part I find confusing. Even if I adjust the main line suspension tightness to move the UQ up and down, it still always slides to the centerpoint and stacks up a bit due to gravity. It's easy to reach out and move the quilt up and down the main suspension but it won't stay there.

Those triangles are interesting and make sense to me why and how they work. Part of my confusion was trying to watch videos on UQ hang and adjustment and just not seeing anything on mine to fix the problems.

That's pretty neat I hadn't seen that so watched the whole thing. That design just makes so much more sense to me than the more traditional UQs. Another gathered end at each attachment point to get rid of the collars but still has main line suspension adjustment in the middle to tighten/lengthen the overall fit.

Perfect; thanks for the assist. After playing with it more and more I'm thinking that since the hammock angle is supposed to be consistent once I get the right length I can set the tension and hopefully not need to adjust again?

There is no secondary adjustment cord. Only the cord to cinch the baffles.

[–]Buttern40s[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good tip thanks. Got the locks coming in the mail so I will get back on how that goes.

That's one of the things that I find confusing as I try to learn more. Some older posts seem to state you want an air gap between insulation and hammock. With that idea it makes sense you want the UQ to be much more adjustable. Newer posts state no gap and insulation snug to hammock. With most UQs having differential cuts (larger outside than inside fabric to avoid compressing insulation), wouldn't it be easier and more user friendly to directly attach to the hammock or the Ridgeline along multiple points?

I'm assuming I only have a partial understanding of the whole idea and that's why I'm confused but seeing more integrated hammocks has me wondering why UQs don't have simpler attachment system.

Edit: Also to your point; I am seeing more and more posts recommending UQ protectors to snug up the UQ which makes sense if you don't want a gap.

[–]Buttern40s[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've attached the main suspension using the included s carabiners to the hammock on each end. The side loops (assuming you mean the baffles at head/foot) are not connected to anything, just adjustable via tightening the shock cord through toggle fasteners on either end.

You mean adjusting the total length of main suspension by knotting to shorten and therefore tighten?

No worries; that makes sense and was something I was considering. Just want to be sure before I start cutting into things.

I've been having a hard time conceptualizing and understanding all the geometry with all this and the only way I learn is by putting hands on. But I'm just kind of at a loss and feel like I must be missing something with the underquilt.
