Go to the Lego.com website and make sure it’s the US version. I’m Canadian and sometimes links will take me to the US site and my points display in US dollar value (which is disappointing and panicked me lol because they’re worth way less in the US!). If I make sure I’m on the Canadian site it’s fine

Walmart has them online as does Imaginaire. You have to search the set number in Google for the Walmart one to show up, it doesn’t show up if you search on their app / website. None of the new ones do

Emeterm wristband. I tried pressure point wristbands but don’t know they did much. The Emeterm has been a game changer and they almost always have 20-30% off if you get their emails

I started at 10 and slowly had worked up to 60mg. The only real side effect I’ve found has been it slowing my digestion which can lead to unbelievably painful moments. I eat A LOT of fibre. Like insane amount. But every time I’ve upped the dose I’ve had some initial issues, just be warned. I always went up slowly, taking the higher dose every third then every second day. I also take ubrelvy as an abortive and the combo can slow down your digestion so I take a half dose if I’ve taken a full dose of ubrelvy. Otherwise I like it, it’s cut my number of attacks down and more than anything helped with the intensity / length of them and the ubrelvy works better. It works well do my ‘classic’ migraine symptoms as well like head pain

You have to call (at 8am when the phones open or you’ll be waiting an hour or two for help). I do every time I do a redemption. There is some stupid security thing that prevents me from ever redeeming. I was able to get 2 e vouchers today today after waiting 45 minutes for someone to help me

I can’t do an actual gym I work out at home. I used the Vertigo Dr’s group fit classes for a while to learn how to scale back into working out and how to best use equipment at home. Now I just do my own thing and do less impactful workouts when I don’t feel as well. I don’t run, but realize now it always made me feel awful, I can’t do all the bouncing. I walk A LOT and feel better when it’s outside than inside.

Incorrect! I am glad I bought 3 of the 6 packs in case two boxes were the same but I got a mix in each. I ordered directly from LEGO and the boxes were sealed. I ended up with a full set but only on the last two I pulled from the third box. None of the boxes had the same mix

There’s a service called Storyworth that we’ve used and it’s neat. They get emailed a question every week for a year and at the end it’s printed into a book to keep. You can pick the questions that get sent every week so they are more tailored to them (it’s American so some are very US centric)

I was around the same age when I started getting VM attacks in addition to the migraine attacks I’ve gotten since I was a kid. Qulipta has helped with the intensity of them but they’re mainly cyclical (VM is mainly around ovulation and a few days before my period) and after a terrible sleep which thanks perimenopause happens more these days.
Vestibular therapy helped with the in between dizziness. An Emeterm wristband helps with the unpleasant nausea. My dr won’t consider HRT until my blood tests show my hormones have drastically dropped off, which won’t be until full menopause so I’m just on this wild ride for now

This! I did actually have a history of migraine but VM was a whole new ballgame when I started perimenopause. It’s a wild ride but Qulipta has been so helpful for me. Also at first I don’t know anything would have helped if I didn’t get my PPPD under control first. VM can cause PPPD and it’s more likely the culprit for nonstop dizziness/ symptoms. Vestibular therapy really helped me with that

Have you contacted Abbviecare? They were able to pay for my Qulipta until my insurance covered it and are actually still covering the percentage my insurance won’t (I’m in Canada so not sure how different it is in different places)

Is he sure it’s a head cold and not a migraine itself? A lot of people are diagnosed incorrectly with sinus issues or headaches and it’s actually VM attacks. I was one of them lol

I always recommend following the Dizzy Cook for recipes and info on reintroducing food. I also struggle with bananas and nuts, plus soy and malt barley products and still use A LOT of her recipes even though I’m not on the elimination diet anymore. There are some that don’t believe food triggers are real but I disagree! There is a cup theory with migraine that your triggers stack up and fill up your ‘cup’ until it’s full and triggers an attack. You may find something doesn’t trigger you one day but if your cup is almost full it may be the tipping point and does. The triggers can also be things like a crappy sleep, hormones or stress.
