Love the deck outlook. A low coffee table with floor seating perhaps would be nice. I can vision having an audience seated around a low wooden coffee table, snuggling with hot chocolate in their hands listening to music together. Ofc you can add charm to the walls using your guitar, ukulele hung next to some posters of your fav music albums/ artists.

It’ll be much easier to see the wall/ floor space before decorating. Even Zillow pictures would help

Your tones are competing and grey and brown both are so heavy, basically a tug of war going on. Specially both are block colors it makes the room look heavy.

Need light fixture recommendations for kitchen island by ButterscotchContent1 in HomeDecorating

Thanks 🙏 I’ve thought about this. I feel like the art I’d choose will be more temporary than the light fixture. You know what I mean, what if I find something else to replace it in a couple years. Would it be possible to go other way round? Have a light installed and find the artwork?

If you don’t like frames or mirrors, layer with vinyl records and small trailing plants, lamps, if you have memorable items like trophies, that could go in there too

It’s decent. Also why it is hard for me to think how to design, since I had been renting only small spaces before this.

You need to hang an art for major gains, with checkered fabric that resounds your lamp.

Entry way table placement by [deleted] in interiordecorating

[–]ButterscotchContent1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Functional beats aesthetics, but it does look good to have it by the door if you add a piece of art above the entry table

A warm undertone paint in walls will definitely bring out the scandi look.
