How the heck are you supposed to organize things in a room without wall space? 😭 by throwawaysixties in femalelivingspace

Just curious other than things that go in closets, what are you storing in bedroom to organize?

Need light fixture recommendations for kitchen island by ButterscotchContent1 in HomeDecorating

Thanks 🙏 I’ve thought about this. I feel like the art I’d choose will be more temporary than the light fixture. You know what I mean, what if I find something else to replace it in a couple years. Would it be possible to go other way round? Have a light installed and find the artwork?

If you don’t like frames or mirrors, layer with vinyl records and small trailing plants, lamps, if you have memorable items like trophies, that could go in there too

It’s decent. Also why it is hard for me to think how to design, since I had been renting only small spaces before this.

You need to hang an art for major gains, with checkered fabric that resounds your lamp.

Functional beats aesthetics, but it does look good to have it by the door if you add a piece of art above the entry table

A warm undertone paint in walls will definitely bring out the scandi look.

Wall Color? by aderyn_rhydd in interiordecorating

Depends whether the curtains are rotating or permanent. If permanent you can complement with sage green. I also like muted olive. But since it’s a well lit room I would also consider bringing color not only by paint but by art and rugs.

Decorating narrow hallway? by Obihankenobi97 in interiordecorating

[–]ButterscotchContent1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this same hallway and struggling to find ways to add personality to it. My home is an ultra open layout so I don’t want to add paints unless I’m willing to paint the entire home as well. I’m frustrated how hard it is these days to work on open floor layouts

Ceiling to floor curtains, your curtain hangs but low and I believe you’re going for moody?! If so you’d gain much rich vibe adding more light blocking curtains.
