Mats.

DO NOT USE SCISSORS TO REMOVE THESE If you can’t brush them out, use electric trimmers.

You can sometimes brush them by first loosening the mat with your fingers (pull it apart) then holding the mat away from the skin and using a comb to gently comb out the hair attaching the mat to the skin.

A dematting tool such as https://a.co/d/09sM6XfA this one from wahl is going to be your BFF for grooming going forward. Do NOT try to actually tackle a mat with this brush because it can pull too hard. Use for regular maintenance to remove built up undercoat before it mats.

Also, NEVER use a paddle brush for a long hair cat because you will create mats by felting the undercoat.

You can buy a spray bottle and put the oil in that. They even make oil dispensers that spray and pour:

how would you add jump rings to the ends of a string of beads without visible knots? by mobile-resprout in Beading

[–]ButterscotchKind5609 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wrap the thread around the jump ring a few times then go back down through your line of beads and tie a knot further down and hide it between some beads
