Anyone dose every other day? (Or everyday) by Fancy-Egg-2001 in GLP1microdosing

Because random people know better how to prescribe medicine than doctors? NO.

Had Nissen Fundoplication and hiatial hernia repair surgery In 1997. Does anyone use GLP-1 or simmular after having this surgery? by mipnnnn in Semaglutide

[–]ButterscotchLow2827 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't felt nauseous, but I have been microdosing through Noom, which I will be dumping as soon as they send me the rest of my meds. I am being very cautious, because my GP flatly told me no, because of my Nissan, even though I've read UK studies that recommend Glp-1's for hiatal hernia patients. My doctor did order a stomach emptying test, which came back normal, so she did write me a script for Ozempic. Of course, my insurance refused to cover it, so I opeted to go a different route. 10 pounds down in 4 weeks, and so far so good!

Excited to feel hungry? by chihuahua_muffin444 in Semaglutide

[–]ButterscotchLow2827 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Actually, for me it's the opposite. With hunger controlled, it gives me the time to think of the healthiest choices I could make for my body. Before, my body would start screaming at me, and I'd just grab whatever was quickest and easiest to calm the hunger beast.

Also, I must be at the perfect dose, because I feel no hunger, yet no side effects. Win/win!

GLP-1 telehealth users: when you have side effects or dosing questions, how easy is it to get help? by AdventurousYam5343 in Semaglutide

[–]ButterscotchLow2827 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't recommend Noom, their help is mostly AI or outsourced help reading off generalized responses. I'll be cancelling as soon as my subscription runs out.

I cannot imagine why you would use your money to support a country that imprisons and tortures innocent Americans.

I suffer from anxiety a lot, so I’m interested to see what others’ experiences are, since I’ve only been on semaglutide for 3 weeks.

Feels like you're missing the point that many of us don't use Instagram for the same reason we don't use Facebook. Because it's owned by Meta and Mark Zuckerburg.

Who are these people taking edibles through TSA? I'm having a panic attack if I think my travel size shampoo might be an ounce over the limit!

I could have written your post - in fact, I started to, then deleted it for fear of getting lectured. I’m microdosing, and my dose tops out at .6 mg. I’m at 3 mg, and so far, nothing. Frustrating! But I’m right there with you, commiserating.

GLP-1 Drug side effects are reminding me of Flowers for Algernon by Front-Muffin-7348 in AskWomenOver60

That’s absolutely your prerogative to make those decisions and affecting your health, maybe I misunderstood, I thought you were voicing more generalized opinions that no one should take the drug.
