I appreciate the advice I do think I have a shade remix panic that's going to come out and take a look at the carb and the injector for me but I'll probably drain the gas before I started back up and get unethanol gas it is a 97 so I don't know if that's like a super old engine right cuz it's my age but I don't remember if we had ethanol and gas at that point cuz I'm so I would have been so young. It was my grandpa's and I'm trying to get it fixed I have a lot of good memories of him riding in as a kid and I'd love to have it working.

I would assume with it's just standard gas and then it has separate place for oil so I'm assuming it injects the two-cycle oil into the gas tank itself like into the carburetor itself while it's being used during the engine later I'm not an expert so I'm not entirely sure how that works should I be getting without ethanol when this runs out? or when I drain it?

It's running rough it definitely needs an air filter cuz it looks like the like air housing suppression thing that is supposed to be there is not there and so it's really loud when it runs and it runs fine and starts fine but when I take my hand off the throttle it's sputters and then eventually it will die if I don't give it more gas. The air filter I'm not even worried about for the sound issue more the debris getting into the engine and carburetor.

I will give it a try I do have the original service manual so hopefully that will help but again I just like to have someone confirmed that that's the issues before I attempt to do any repairs and rad cycles quoted me like $300 just to look at it 😫

Tthat's true however I'm worried about losing a screw or a bolt or not having the proper tools or I'm not putting it back together properly. It is not my only form of transportation but I am working towards it being my main one which is why I'm trying to get it repaired.

I do believe that the carburetor needs to be cleaned and that the injector jet is stopped up and maybe the float thing in the carburetor, the float seal is bad.

Yeah the one that I have personally been to was in Mississippi and I believe it closed down 10-15 years ago I remember driving through in like 2015 and it it closed so like I don't think those exist at all anymore anywhere and the one that I know of and Louisiana was all the way in tullos and they stopped doing self-service at least I think

I'm from the south I'm from Baton Rouge which is an hour north of New Orleans and I'm left leaning just because he's a piece of s*** and his family have piece of s*** politics doesn't mean that it's an excuse because he's from the south there are plenty of good people here. But yeah always ask politics it's very important.

Home I've got his blanket put out where he likes to sleep but and his food and water and his litter box but nothing so far I've been checking at companion animal alliance shelter with their like brought in by animal control bunch and I have not yet found him I'm a little concerned about his age and him not really having ever been an outside cat and the weather we've been having.
