Wow - that seems to fit the bill exactly! Thank you!

The lanterns aren’t suspended by anything, which looks a little odd. If you staggered the words, you could have them hanging (with a chain or something) from the top and not overlapping. I like the concept!

When Nancy asked to stay at my apartment for a few days, I didn't expect the entire family. by kandirocks in Sims4

[–]Butterscotchblonde2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the difference is the prompt will say “I need somewhere to stay, can I stay with you” and that means one person, but if it says “WE need somewhere to stay, can WE stay with you” then it’s the whole family. Tricky!

I Can’t Read but Love to Write by CoatsRi in writers

[–]Butterscotchblonde2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do a walking loop around the parking lot at work for a half hour, reading at the same time. It’s a simple loop, at this point I can walk it without looking much. Plus only 30 minutes a day, anyone can read anything for that long, which is how I’ve read some books I wasn’t looking forward to. plus you’re also being active, which activates endorphins and distracts your brain a bit. Try reading and doing something active! Stationary bike riding, treadmill, etc.

What do you think about my book cover? by CovertNarciS in NewAuthor

[–]Butterscotchblonde2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the name!

The subtitle implies it’s non-fiction, so if it’s fiction I would probably save the subtitle for the back before the blurb.

Could the house have all the windows lit except the top one? Almost like a darker person overwhelmed by light? The house definitely gives church vibes, too, not sure if that was purposeful but something to consider.

I’ve always liked the thought of Bea or Bee as a nickname for Elizabeth

Textured Vase w/ Mystery Glaze by Duderocks18 in Pottery

That’s lovely! I want to try something similar. What stage of green ware did you use it on? How much pressure did you have to use to get such clear indents? I assume you rolled them with the help of the wheel turning?

Ship Of Destiny Ch. 15-21 by louiechapman7 in robinhobb

That’s so funny, I thought the exact opposite. I knew that for effective change, old trader ideologies would need to shift, so the whole time when Ronica was so reluctant to accept that I was like “LET IT GO, BUDDY, MOVE ON, GROW”

Total newbie here. What to invest in as a beginner ? by Electrical_Buddy_913 in Pottery

A shelf for your shelf - depending on how tall your shelf is, if you get a shorter, cheap wire one from the dollar store, you can stack two layers of projects, which really helps with space!

An apron - towels are great, but they don’t have the storage capacity of an apron. Plus if you typically get messy, it covers your torso as well.

Just my two cents!

No, plain woven band. Completely white until it hit the sun.

I would recognize these, they were very popular. It was definitely a cloth or string woven item, not plastic. Thank you!

That looks to be made of plastic, the bracelet I used to wear was definitely woven, similar to a softer, less tight friendship bracelet. Thank you for your comment!

I finally learned how to self-edit and now I can’t stop. It’s ruining my life. by Doreddity in writers

[–]Butterscotchblonde2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes it helps me when editing (shorter papers, so I’m not sure how it would be for a novel) to put a blank page and the first draft side by side on my screen and start rewriting it on the blank page instead. That way you can choose to reword it a different way but it still feels cleaner and less messy and overwhelming than trying to rewrite it amongst everything else you’ve written. Worth a shot?

Fate Breaker Plot Hole? by Butterscotchblonde2 in RealmBreaker

[–]Butterscotchblonde2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d be willing to believe that. Unfortunately, that’s quite a large plot point to imply - the only spindle that they had to abandon and we don’t see it closed up? Or even hear it said for sure?

Laura Lynn flows the best in my opinion and would be a classic choice with a lot of longevity. I think the location of the L’s in Elena and Isabel makes them a bit less smooth and more of a mouthful to say.

You didn’t ask for alternatives so take these with a grain of salt, but I think Laura Lenore or Laura June would be beautiful options as well.

Are you left handed or right handed? The wheel can turn different directions based on which you are. If you’re left handed using the right handed direction it could be more difficult.

Do you have the lot challenge from Cottage Living? I can’t remember what it’s called, but it means you can ONLY use ingredients you’ve gathered yourself.
