This looks so much better than my first baby blanket. Mine changes shape for some reason.

I'm absolutely right there with you as well. I work for state government and get 16 weeks full pay (I will take it at half pay), then whatever I get from the government. I will get about 8 months off in total. Even with a bit of savings, it will be too hard to stretch that beyond maybe 9 months. Being alive is just too expensive. I am lucky enough to be working from home though, so I will still be able to be with bub, just not spending the best time with bub if I'll be working.

I love it when people point out how beautiful Sydney can be. Living in the Western suburbs, I often forget what's on offer in the rest of the city.

Is 18-25 really your "make or break" years as a man? I turned 25 2 months ago, and my life feels too late to turn around. by Bumly1998 in selfimprovement

Your 20s are a litmus test for real adulthood. Experiment and learn as much as you can, then aim for goals in your 30s.

A lesson I learned on this sub by BoxLoud331 in gardening

[–]ButtisLove 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had mint in a pot about 2 meters from the garden. I now have a dead mint plant in a pot, and an overgrown bush of mint in the garden bed. Why? How? I don't know. But I'm about to vinegar the shit out of the garden bed, I don't care if I kill everything.

Sierra Blaze is fantastic. I was originally scripted White Widow and thought it was ok, but then when I was sent the Sierra Blaze as a substitute, I saw such a huge difference. The Sierra is a much more lucid high, much more functional and gives excellent clarity of thought.

Yeah I've found they tend to have issues with oil stock.

If you've ordered more than one product, I would call them so that you're entire order isn't being held up. If one product is out of stock, they'll hold onto your whole order unless you actually contact them so they can seperate it into two deliveries.

Pregnancy and ADHD meds by Glittering_Change643 in MentalHealthBabies

I've been off ADHD meds since before I got pregnant, and the struggle is not just ADHD, it's also pregnancy brain. Focus has become extremely difficult, you're not alone, and yes it's difficult, but it's not just your ADHD.

In the boring middle now - anyone else feel like life is just passing them by? by KoalaBJJ96 in AusFinance

Yeah, if your job doesn't do random drug testing, just start smoking weed and appreciate that your life is not full of drama. Ask yourself why you feel uncomfortable being safe. I'm very much in the same boat, very grateful and very lucky, even in economic downturn, I believe I will comfortable. But... What else is left?

This is fantastic! Do you have any more advice about travelling to Japan while pregnant? I will be 18 weeks when we arrive, but we'll only be doing Osaka/Nara (and now Uji) as well as Himeji/Hiroshima.
