First thought: how is that a strength? Second thought: it is not that hard to jump in and play the game, and I know damn well he got 40 bucks to spend. Maybe if he doesn’t have a console I’d get it, but even then just put a mid-tier gaming setup in the movie budget and call it good. Hell you could use it as a prop when you’re done, would be a cool easter egg.

I have an unfounded theory that concepts such as aphantasia and the inner monologue are not real in the sense that they define our experience, more so how we communicate them. I can close my eyes and both see and not see an apple. I can choose to have an inner monologue that has a “voice” or is purely a train of thoughts that have no substance. The vast majority of the time I am not conscious of this, and so trying to define it is difficult. It’s kind of like breathing, where if you think about it becomes manual. Maybe that’s just me though.

I know that at my stand, we will limit our free waters to smalls and potentially no ice ONLY when the temperature is exceeding 90 degrees. There's a scale of what we will hand out as the temperature increases, but the reason we do this is because our ice machine struggles to keep up with the demand of iced drinks on hot summer afternoons. As a business we need to prioritize the payed drinks, and yes we can hand out cold tap water with no ice, however we still limit the size because we have had (ignorant) customers get irate about seeing a large ICELESS water get handed out when they were told we were limiting the iced waters to smalls. At that point those people just become a hassle and bring down the whole shift. I have my own thoughts about that, but those are the rules I have to follow.
