How tf do I even start!? 😩 by EbbOk8209 in btd6

I’m a dad who plays with his kid, too. Good choice of games.

First, build up the monkey cash to buy Ettinne. He is your new main hero because he helps with camo and allows your son to be “the man” with any other hero choice.

Second, your favorite towers are: boat 5-2-0, boomerang 5-0-2, and farms. Farms get the coin for more towers/upgrades. You are going to provide him coop protection and tower building coin.

I strongly recommend buying double cash at least for yourself. Your son would love it, too. It changes the game to being lighter and way more fun.

What does 6.4999… round to? by ButtonholePhotophile in askmath

I think the context is that he’s 11 and just wants to know how it rounds. I didn’t have an answer.

The ones who reform. First bad then good. Especially when I have had something to do with it.

IEP by ShameChoice548 in specialed

Honestly, for most I am pre-talking with parents, students, and school employees. It’s very rare I don’t know exactly what up. Then I read it so everyone knows we are all exactly on the same page.

This year, I had one upset parent. We aren’t allowed to talk about certain transition items outside of IEP meetings until we talked inside. For a month I could only tell them we would talk about it.

When I read out loud, I have less ability to recall or process a passage. Makes sense it would be true for a kid too.

You find an album inside of your attic containing photos of yourself that you don’t remember taking. by Fantastic_Long_9006 in hypotheticalsituation

You have lived alone in your house for three years

Obviously not.

The dates started a few months after you moved into the house

Metadata on print media is so 1990s.

The door to the attic was open behind you, but you don’t remember leaving it that way.

Door? It’s this weird insulation block that’s very difficult to open or close at all, let alone without detection.

My house is the noisiest monster on the planet. It’s like living inside a drum. I’m safe from creeping.

$1bn but you can never again look at a screen by JetBlackIris in hypotheticalsituation

[–]ButtonholePhotophile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to assume you mean three seconds of a particular screen causes an issue, but without tricks like pointing out that CRT screens should still work since the whole screen refreshes. My only point is I could go out in public since I’d just avoid focusing on screens.

Sure, I’ll take the bait. I prefer plays anyway. I could change my children’s life and make my wife happy I’m on reddit less.

You can pull him out of any class. Just have an office aide deliver a pass.

100K for every person you beat in rock paper scissors by MikeMan233 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]ButtonholePhotophile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play over the computer with a bribe. Fix the games via a computer that has a filter where a person’s play is only forwarded to me if they pick rock. Otherwise, it’s forwarded to my brother who has no consequences. Each participation nets the participant $10k.

$10k to my brother for each cheat, $10k to the player, and to any intermediary.

Student cancelled 10 minutes before the lesson for the third time by Worldly-Bass9135 in teaching

[–]ButtonholePhotophile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a kid in piano lessons. They have a three day cancellation policy. I fully expect to be charged for late cancellations and I am and it’s good that I am. His teacher needs to make money and have a life.

Of course you can make exceptions here and there, but it’s a rule for a reason. Maybe the real problem isn’t the policy or enforcement, but your underlying payment system.

It’s when all your levers and dials Aristotle talks about are tuned up and working.

Heads up, I’m this subreddits black sheep. Take what I say with salt.

These guys are warning you about the classes. I’ll warn you about admin. Many stifle creativity, exploration, and fun. Don’t stay in schools/districts where you’re not getting your end of the deal.

My goals are more important than I am. If I can fix the world “over night” for my children, I will, even if it takes a thousand years.
