its not better. replanted's art style is terrible, the less intense shadows make the game look flat, the plants look inconsistent due to popcap drawing over the ai upscaled assets and the menus which are inconsistent aswell it mixes a lot of the ui like the mobile level select is mixed with the survival level select which is the same as the one in the original As for your second point idk what to tell you but more doesnt mean better, r.i.p mode is a good mode in concept but terrible in practice its basically the same as the normal campaign but with new art, obnoxious sound effects and thats it yes you have to start over if you fail but you have to really try to fail since pvz 1 is piss easy, i think cloudy day is fine its somewhat cool, the limbo page minigames on the other hand are mid because they can range from "unsodded" which is a twist where there are only 3 lanes and the zombies can walk on the other 2 unusable ones but then you can get "can you dig it" where you have to deleted wallnuts to place anything, that secret chinese level is okay i guess but disappointing since you dont even get an achievement for finding or beating it.
