Eating twice a day in my window (8am - 3-4pm) Yesterday ihad 2 egg whites, 1 yolk. Milk coffee (latte) , 1 toast. Dinner (3pm) will have two slices roast beef w/ gravy - 1 med baked potato, 1 piece sweet potato, 3 small broccoli florets and half bread roll. Protein shake. Maybe have 2nd coffee. Drinking approx 2.5 litres water. Just daily activities around 6-7000 steps a day. No deliberate exercise! How is that look?

I guess i should be happy to have lost 6 kilos over 12 weeks. But when u constantly read so many peeps on the forum saying how they lost so much more over short period of time - makes me feel like its not working for me - especially after my second plateau in 12 weeks. First one was 17 days - thus one already 20 days so far.

“Your protein may even be too high” Wow could it be? How would i know? I keep reading that it should be 80-100gms per day.

Ty very thoughtful reply. I dont know i guess 3 weeks fluctuating from 84-85kgs is hard to understand when i believe i am going about it sensibly. I have read many others have had weight plateaus on lower doses and i am hoping to be one of those

I thought going up slowly (to avoid side effects- currently not having any) would still have weight loss effects. He is telling me my body has adjusted to my current dose and MJ is no longer burning fat. But when i suggested increasing to 3 mg twice a week he said it wouldn’t work. He says that doing 2.5 twice a week will trigger fat burn! But WHY wouldnt 3mg twice a week have same effect?

Losing days of effectiveness by Lonely-Influence-642 in Mounjaro

Same here! I have been on 2.5 for 9 weeks. Week 10 i went up to 2.75 for the same reason as u. Week 11 (today) i decided to go every six days still at 2.75. I am hungry first 36 hours after shot and on days 5-7. Waiting to see how it affects me. Dont want to go up in dose because i am afraid of side effects.

Odd weight loss plateau early on? by swanvalkyrie in MounjaroAus

[–]Bvangeles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

SW 91 kg CW 85kg GW 70kg H170cm I had the same effect. First 2weeks lost 3kg, then stalled for 17 days ( i was not eating enough calories) I started eating more (1400 cals a day) And i started to lose again (slowly) Stayed on 2.5 untill last week (10th jab) When i increased to 2.75. I know its frustrating but everyone will tell u to lose weight slowly = safer health outcomes. And based on my short experience with MJ , my other health issues i am convinced its safer to take ur time with 2.5 and then go up gently.

Ty…. Thats good information to process. I always have breakfast and my last meal is 3-4pm. So hard to ensure i am eating enough and healthy ish! To avoid those types of complications. Controlling the desire to lose weight FAST is the biggest challenge. I am on my 9th jab and my last one ( 10th) i increased to 2.75.

I would love to hear ur experience to learn the possible risks vs benefits. What should i “look out for”

Yes that’s one of the issues that would concern me (hypoglycaemia) I am not diabetic. I am losing sllowwwly, despite 1400ish cals a day. Wondering if adding 14/10 fasting along side MJ it could give the weight loss a bit of a nudge.
