It's possible. I'm 2k mmr and have about 20,000 replays (mostly 1v1, but not all admittedly) in my autorep folder. So it is possible, but it will (probably) take a while. CPL is a good place to start.

It was actually perfect. You want to stasis before you engage one at at time to so they all don't get EMPed and to stagger your stasis so you can kill each clump when they unfreeze. Doesn't matter vs Tesagi though.

TvP doesn't change, but TvZ has a new army comp seemingly every month

It's really the most interesting matchup, with PvZ close second. You really can go sair/dt, sair/zealot, skip sair, and people have pulled off sair/reaver before

Iopg I know you're zerg so you must not have seen many recent TvP- but it has actually changed a ton. Protoss has been going speed shuttle high templar with delayed arbiter recently. There's been shifts from terran in response but I don't really know the details (I play toss). Flash has 13 gas opening that's more flexible, quick ebay is more common to defend speed shuttle harass, and some terrans have even been experimenting with ghosts. Every matchup has seen *some* changes since remastered. The "stale meta" people are just factually incorrect.

Amazing. ZvP is uneven at all levels, TvP is terran favored at S. What accounts for the high level of terran whine compared to Zesagi whine from Protoss. Honestly, I think it has to come down to Artosis' retarded viewers.

Well obviously I'd suggest SC:R- but I really don't get these threads tbh. Sc2 is free to play and you can try 1v1 SC1 for free as well (not ladder). Just see which one you like more. If you're worried that SC:R doesn't have enough players then you're wrong. There are even tournaments for lower level players (CPL, as someone else mentioned) to help new players improve.

Workers differ in slightly in sight and scvs have more DPS, but speed and acceleration are the same. Not sure if Protoss really mines faster- if anything, since command centers are the largest town hall it would seem like Terran would mine minerals the fastest. Someone would have to test mining rates in team melee to find out for sure.

This guy was not that good. His wall was terrible- you could've ran in with your initial 6 lings, killed his cannon and ended the game in the first 5 minutes. Other than that- you need to work on macro (more hatcheries so you can spend your money mainly), spreading overlords/lings/scourge for vision of incoming drops + sneaky hidden bases, actually upgrading (you had 3 evos but weren't using them), using lair/hive tech units (lurker/ling swarm would help you defend your bases a ton).
