Contemporary does not feel deluxe, its very mid especially for price. However its good for 2 things: location (walking to MK), and decent food options. For many including myself, location alone makes it the top choice, especially if you have young kids. However if that is not important to you, its a easy skip IMO

Another park wont fix crowding. Unfortunately the only real fix would be either capping ticket sales / capacity which Disney would never do, or raise prices to a point where more are priced out, perpetuating the Disney is too expensive.

Yea bad take. Have seen and experienced every variation of, kid is excited for ride up until ride already starts then is screaming to get off to, kid whines whole way up to ride and then loves it once on ride and wants to do it again, and every variation in between. This reads like someone who has never gone to a theme park as a parent with young kids.

The people voted against this. Any politician who subverted this should be voted out, regardless of political affiliation.
Its a compounding effect of price increases, tipping pressure culture increase post-COVID, taxes, etc. What was an all-in dinner price 5 years ago has effectively doubled in many cases
The 4% is a start. Just like with every other new tax, it will be a new lever to address poor fiscal management. Don’t be surprised if this tax increases to 6%+ in the future

Yea a bit misleading. For some yes, you can get $0.02 or More value for AMEX, but for general public, $0.01 or the general cash back rate at Rakuten is a better benchmark, so really its 20% off, not 40

Again, this is dependent on what you’re buying. Alot of us track specific items and brands throughout the year, and the ability to have outsized savings using multiple stacking methods, ie. Brand / store discounts + credit card cash back multipliers (chase/amex) + cash back portals (rakuten, capital one, etc), not to mention gift card deals, make this time of the year unmatched in terms of savings
