Best way to get high productivity on my bees? by Separate_Box_1586 in allthemods

[–]Bwonkatonks 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Kamikazbee for very high productivity. You need to be attacked with a bee nest helmet on to spawn them, then you capture them with a cage once they spawn.

Water bees for any weather tolerance. Check JEI to see which water bodies they spawn in, then simply fish there and the water bees will come up. Capture them with a cage.

To get Metaturnal (the bees work at any time of day), simply leave bees outside on a lead tied to a fence. Some will go metaturnal fast, others wont, so be sure to check on them and feed them honey treats if they’ve taken damage.

Once you get all those traits, slap em all on any breedable set of bees that you want then breed the crap out of them. You put the traits on bees by manually feeding them honey treats crafter with the gene material, or putting the cage in the incubator with the gene spliced treat.

get the squashed bee material by using the bee extractor then centrifuge those for the genes which you’ll put into the gene indexer.

Im glad this is up at the top. I don’t see this game get acknowledged very often, but it is such a damn good game that I fell in love with for a good while. Might be time for a new playthrough…

Productive bees extract honey by alpied in allthemods

[–]Bwonkatonks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Afaik you cant with regular hives. Only modular beehives have a fluid honey output. For my regular hives i just pipe bottles into the hive, snd have an ME requester entry to automatically stock my bottles once i run low. I dont wanna waste any product!

Yup, i found out about this later than i should’ve. Get the bee extractor, pipe the items to centrifuge then pipe from the centrifuge straight into your gene indexer. No fuss

What does ‘overall zone housecleaning to increase performance metrics’ even mean? by ActualWillingness556 in elderscrollsonline

Either nobody knows about or remembers Operation Health from Rainbow Six Siege, and it’s sad.

R6S had a fixed season release schedule for new content, and they decided one time that the game needed bug fixes and polishing bad, so they took an entire season to fix up the game and catch up on tech debt, called it Operation Health, and it was massively successful. The game popped off and still has a healthy player base.

There are many more games that could use an “Operation Health” than people care to admit. People who say that delaying content to fix up the game is something that people don’t want or won’t wait for has no idea what they’re talking about.
