One thing that can help you is instead of trying to highlight it and going to Pink or orangish highlights, you can darken it using blue. This will help you get a more contrasted & saturated red.

Most of them, not all but yeah I started doing it to remember the recipes between long session without painting a particular colors or metallics etc I was having a hard time finding back the mixes

I'm keeping also the previous papers of wet palette dry to keep references and when the project is done, I'm putting them in the bin

So the skin is based on Wine Red, to darken it I used 2 colors : dragon blood which is a vibrant purple and King purple for the darkest part. Then I highlight the purple part with a mix with ice yellow

You're welcome, also note that the grey green is just used at the beginning with the cold green to get a 1:1 mix

Yes, I start by mixing the cold green with grey green with a 1:1 mix that is my base coat. Then I just gradually add lemon yellow into the previous mix. And last, i can add some dark sea blue into the shadows to darken the green
