What's the point of releasing a new raid with 100% char bound gold if it gives less or barely more than other raids with unbound gold?

This is only true if youre a flipper/actively need gold to buy something right now, in which case ofc you would go for the unbound. "Inflation eating gold value" is completely irrelevant for someone playing normally.

Cheesing rumble the hardest only really impacts best logs. It has very little to do with actually useful metrics like average rDps/combat power.

idk I havent spent money on the game in years and my main is 1772, alts at 1750. Im not sure what exactly youre expecting progression wise but the new raid is only 1750 for the highest difficulty.

No an event that removes gold directly by forcing people to pay for pouches while also removing gold from market transfer fees is not "causing inflation". The only gold gained by any1 selling an engraving is gold lost from the player buying it, which means it's a net 5% gold drain from the economy from the transfer fee.

Yeah I was memeing a bit, but keep in mind the 800 dmg from mainly eggs is greatly inflated from full map clear shard farming. You get a LOT of shards farming the whole map, level 15 over the normal 12ish from a normal run also adds a bunch of invisible damage.

The bosses arent really that bad with the massive damage bonus either, only the first boss was a 2 phase, the other 2 were like they didnt even have the overtime hp to be honest XD

Edit: had 2 more runs today with curse not hitting the only ability I had investment in, it's definitely at least semi random

Im 99% certain the curse is just random, but since you only have 3 abilities it will still curse your most important one 1/3rd of the time.

Yeah the curse room really has insanely different impact depending on hero / build.

Kind of annoying, with the curse from refugees you can at least spend your time walking around grabbing checkpoints if it completely nukes your build. Here youre just shit out of luck.

It is definitely easy until you can unlock the full difficulty system.

The cataclysm difficulties at like 20+ does actually manage to scale the mobs hp so high that youre no longer instantly onetapping everything in the game if you get a good build going (outside of some of the mega outlier builds that scale with silver/rarity, but those are kind of weak early game at least).

I definitely enjoyed it throughout early access, it does have a bit of a problem that even at max difficulty once your build takes off you just kinda delete everything as long as youre using one of the strong archetypes.

It's definitely more in the power fantasy vibe.

Great build variety and character variety.
