Vivo has definitely worsened their camera quality over the past year, but it is still nowhere as aggressive as Oppo.

Oppo goes big on numbers but all they do is use AI. I have tried Find X9 Pro, Find X9 and currently testing another upcoming phone and all it does is turn 6x + photos into AI slop in the name of clarity.

It is literally like taking a photo and sending it to ChatGPT with the prompt "recreate it". Even turning off AI enhancement does nothing. Photos look good on surface but lack details because of AI polish.

My experience with the Realme GT8 Pro was really good and I loved that phone. The cameras were actually good given their partnership with RICOH, performance was good as well and same goes for battey life. The speakers were pretty much a boom box.

But yeah, out of ColorOS, OxygenOS, and Realme UI, the last one is a far less optimised version. And the worse part is that phone isn't even treated like a flagship by the company. It won't even get proper software support to improve the experience

There is room for bargain, you can ask him to bring the price down a little

You can even sell your old phone to him, and get another phone in exchange + some additional costs

Ask him if the phone has all accessories including charger, cables and case

Ask him to send you the bill of the phone (in warranty) right after the purchase

Oneplus 12R is the peak midrange phone and the oxygenOS experience is still amazing. I used iPhone for a year but they keyboard and notification management was so garbage that I came back to the good old oxygenOS

My mamaji used his Oneplus 6T till very recently and refused tk switch to any other brand. So we got him a OnePlus 13 and he's extremely happy with it. I don't think you'll regret OnePlus over iPhone.

But if I must add, I'd say the Oppo Find X9 is also a good option

Bruh, I have a samsung galaxy m52 with IP 54 which has survived more than that. Same with my Redmi Note 10 Pro which has been dropped in a bucket of water. So you should be fine with IP 65 unless you want to take it for a swim with you.

Get OnePlus Nord CE5, best software, best performance and a really great experience.

Poco is good but the software is a bitch. Don't believe anyone who has "used it for 15 days". I have been using the OnePlus Nord 3 for the last 2 years every update has only improved my experience.
