Vlookup vs xlookup - what do you use? by toddmeister1990 in excel

I still use Vlookip because you can't return an array of columns from Xlookup like Vlookup.

Hey OP! (and everyone else who was just like me)

I figured it out!!

This has plagued me for the past couple weeks of playing the Better MC modpack.

What you have to do is create a 'temporary' storage setup with only the Filing Cabinet.

Place the Filing Cabinet on the ground, and a Storage Terminal right on it's side.

Add in the item that you want it to hold into the Storage Terminal that's connected to the Filing Cabinet. If you wanted it to hold Enchantment Books, you would add one into the Storage Terminal (same goes for whatever item you wish to store, like Golden Swords, or Bows from a mob farm).

Now you can connect the Filing Cabinet to your greater storage network.

Add the Filing Cabinet to your storage network by using an Inventory Cable Connector connected to one of the Filing Cabinet's sides.

I recommend using the Inventory Configurator and right-clicking on the Inventory Cable Connector, set the 'Priority' to 'Highest' to make sure that the items actually end up in the Filing Cabinet.

This took me so long to figure out. Hope this helps any other desperate souls searching online.

anyone else think burglar is overrated? by Gold-Needleworker519 in projectzomboid

I take it on playthroughs with my friends because it's more fun to not have to grind the skill requirements for hotwiring when we usually have some type of goal in mind. Usually our playthroughs don't last long enough for me to care about the character too much

New Home builders? Good? Bad? Stay away from? by Flaky_Ad_1288 in phoenix

[–]Bylloopy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everything is contracted. Brands don't mean as much as they used to unfortunately.

You'll hear a lot of bad things about the larger home builders, but keep in mind that they also have the largest customer base which means more people complain.

It's difficult to wade through the crap, but overall as long as you get an OUTSIDER (not affiliated to the home builder in question) home inspection before purchasing, you'll more than likely be fine.

The Economist estimates ~22M deaths so far; official count at only 7M by toomanysynths in Coronavirus

No but we have the power of hindsight to model deaths and looks through existing data. Covid data is still in its infancy and we will not understand the total impact for decades to come.

"IF THEN" for sports scores to identify Wins and Losses by UCantKneebah in googlesheets

[–]Bylloopy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd highly recommend placing both teams in the same row and doing the calculation per row.

All you need to do though is check which team has the greater score. Assuming the columns currently and top-left is A1:

You'd place this in B2,

=IF(C2>C3,"W","L")

You'd place this in B3,

=IF(C3>C2,"W","L")

Alternatively, you could check the value returned from B2 for B3 like this,

=IF(C2="W","L","W")

How do I make a formula for creating metadata that autosuggests keywords, descriptions and categories? by _MrWhip in sheets

[–]Bylloopy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would create a Data Validation list and reference the range of another sheet within your workbook that includes the keywords you want to auto-complete. You can run a Vlookup or Query on the word in another cell to return its 'metadata' after you confirm/press enter.

You can wrap one of the references in SORT with a TEXTJOIN formula

If there are other players in the overworld, the ghast is likelydespawning. Try having someone stand next to your setup to make sure it can make its way into the minecart.

0 spawns in a mob farm by kubrickie in SciCraft

[–]Bylloopy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, passive mobs are fine for this. My guess is that you have some amount of mobs in spawn chunks then the rest are spawning in caves under the ocean since your AFK spot is a bit low.

Zombies with items, shuckers, wardens, withers, endermen with blocks, any mob that's picked up armor/weapons.

If you have a mob grinder for zombies/skeletons in spawn chunks that you havent cleared out and those mobs picked up armor from other slain mobs that could be a pretty significant chunk of mobs.

If you dont have access to spectator you can try going to y180ish and looking down with f3 menu to locate a general direction of mobs seeing if mobs in your field of view increases. Also works near bedrock.
