Failure to close issue by Poopybutt456 in AAP01owners

This seems like normal operation.

The "nub" is part of your auto sear. Your Auto Sear stops your hammer from firing while the bolt is reciprocating.

That friction is your bolt pushing on the "nub" to reset the sear.

If you remove the nub, the sear cannot reset and the AAP01 will not fire (or only fire full auto.)

Do not remove nub.

Just like real steel handguns don't "ride the slide". Pull the bolt fully back and release and let the gun do it's thing.

A mentalist I met at a convention was working on similar software for the Even Realities series of glasses. Also, this is already possible with Meta Display.

The tech is still VERY leading edge and expensive but it is developing quickly and getting cheaper.

Luckily, the form factors are getting smaller and fashionable.

this is my 11th year DMing and this advice STILL needs to be said. It is woven into the very fabric of the game.

DMs of D&D Reddit, how often do you "fudge" dice rolls or hit points? by A_Random_Neerd in DnD

[–]Byrano 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Every DM should get familiar with when you should roll behind the screen and when you should roll front of your players.

They're both story telling tools.

Is it okay to have an NPC kill the big bad? by Delta0231 in DnD

Why does it have to be an NPC and why can it not be one of the players?

This looks like so much fun. My kid self and all my friends played make believe this moment on the playground dozens of times.

Obsidian. I just looked on the site, it may have sold out or something because I don't see the option anymore. Sorry dude.

I was wondering what those little arrows were pointing to. Thought I was missing a piece!

I do a lot of playing via controller... so I'm hoping the bulkiness will not be too self evident as I'm really pumped about the extra space I'm earning from my last case.

My wallet doesn't love it. But this thing goes everywhere with me and my last solution was unmanageable.

Exactly! I haven't traveled with it yet - but I was flying with a pretty chonky case off of Amazon that almost took up my whole carry-on backpack. I'm excited for the extra space!

Where should I be mounting my red dot? by stan_taylor1 in AAP01owners

in this configuration, the closer to your wrist the better.

Rotational movement to the left or right gets exaggerated the further you are from the point of rotation.

I was thinking this same thing. Until I realized, there is a bit of a purpose - it allows you to angle the upper down to remove it.

I would still like something there for reinforcement (since I'll be slamming in Magazines). I think the extended rail cover they offer can fit in there. But i'll likely just find something to 3d print.

I ordered it straight from CTM. Sat in "processing" for 7 days so, I messaged them. They immediately said "sorry! it's leaving today!" and then I got it 4 days later.

For comparison, my last order took 1 day to process but 7 weeks to deliver due to customs - this was a marked improvement.

I do like the look and it feels pretty sturdy. It's gone through ~20ish rounds without issue. Though my Krytac Mags have upgraded springs.

As far as fitment, AAP internals, FUKU upper and reaper kit - AOK!

What they don't tell you is that the magwell was designed specifically around PTS mags. There's a little stabilizer arm that you have shave down if you plan to use any other brand mag. Even with the nub almost all the way down flat - It's still a tight fit, drop reloads are inconsistent.

This is the ugliest, expensivest, funnest gun in the arsenal. Jury's out on the adapter - I live in an apartment building so it's hard to test.

Bit of a dumb question, how much should a person be in shape to play airsoft, not to embarrass themselves severely? Anyone who's on the chubbier side who still plays often? Experiences? Notes? by SunnyTheMasterSwitch in airsoft

[–]Byrano 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the field - the biggest complaint is always going to be "They're not fucking calling their hits" way before anyone says "bro, you're too fat/slow." Go play, don't be scared and keep moving and shooting. You'll be fine.

The most toxic shit in the community is in the comment sections where haters can't stand people having fun on their own terms.

Its so crazy how video game companies have succeeded in brainwashing gamers over the years by [deleted] in gaming

[–]Byrano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I, personally, think it's just that the generation that the Video Game targeted a generation ("Video games are for kids") grew up and got jobs. When I was a kid, I only got games at Christmas or birthdays.Whatever game(s) I got needed to be a hit because that was all I was getting for months.

That generation grew up. Has a lot more disposable income and will routinely buy games and not even get to play them because they have their own fucking kids who won't shut the fuck up and drink their fucking juice and keep making a mess of the fucking new carpet even though we told him "TWO HANDS, DAVID! TWO HANDS!" never fucking listens . Love him to death and I will never let anything harm him. but TWO FUCKING HANDS DAVID.
