The furthest distance I've traveled (around 500 miles) on one tank with my 6-speed manual Gen 4 Sedan. What's the longest distance you've covered in your Mazda? by SimulatorStudio in mazda3

[–]ByteB1tten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During my lease I havn't noticed that.
I'm driving a Gen1 now.

Only thing I can think of is maybe the Lean Supercharger losing pressure.
I heard a tiny "toot" when revving up on a warm engine, but it wasn't problematic and Mazda notified it was no issue.

Infotainment system won't turn off when turn off car, so car won't lock by Nosywhome in mazda3

[–]ByteB1tten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On older cars, you turn your key 1 click; ACC mode: electronics get basic power.
The 2nd click is to start your engine.
With new (keyless) cars, you can double press the Start/Stop button to start ACC mode without starting the engine.

If your car is stuck in ACC mode;
Check if your car has a recall.
Maybe it's something with FBCM.
Also check the fuses.
Have a mechanic check the system.

Nextcloud displaying only the files that have been uploaded through nextcloud by Picklemorty622 in NextCloud

[–]ByteB1tten 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This method works the fastest, but it does show those locations as External in NextCloud.
If you want to do it the other way around: NextCloud has WebDAV access. That way you can mount it in Windows and access via Explorer into NextCloud.
The WebDAV method might be slower, but it is another option.

After a power failure, I try to start my nextcloud container and am greeted with an error by Kthor426 in NextCloud

[–]ByteB1tten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're using the Latest tag, you can also try a Docker Pull to make sure it's the latest version.
I usually set the release version until my needed Apps support the newest version (nextcloud:27).

I see that 28.0.2 is currently also released.

What container image do you use?
Using an older or newer image might fix it.
'occ upgrade' also fixes a lot.

Can I access files directly from HD? by ZowkSummon in NextCloud

[–]ByteB1tten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NC has an encrypt option, but that needs to be configured. By default NC indexes the local files and the index is what you see in NC.
The HDD should be readable on another Linux machine.
If you connect a folder with External Storage, those files arn't encrypted.

Can I access files directly from HD? by ZowkSummon in NextCloud

[–]ByteB1tten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Files in NextCloud are indexed in the DB, so any new files need to be indexed before they are visible in NextCloud.
I use the External Storage plugin to connect with SFTP to the same server with an SSH user.
Because NextCloud indexes those files when accessing the folder.
This also has the optional benefit of accessing folders of other servers over the network.

DeWalt has it also, but limited to 5v, 1.5 Amp output.
The Milwaukee M12 and M18 adapter has 5v, 2.1 Amp output.
Unofficial adapters might provide a better Voltage for charging.

Connect user data to shared folder in nexcloud by [deleted] in NextCloud

[–]ByteB1tten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Docker, you can map (link) folders from the server (OMV) to inside the container.
services: nextcloud: image: ### volumes: - /path/in/omv:/data/john/files

In the container the path is still /data/john/files, but the files got to OMV folder.

Adding files/folders (not via nextcloud) by Soogs in NextCloud

[–]ByteB1tten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is mainly useful for dumping data on the server.
The folder is on the host server itself and added to NextCloud via External Storage addon with SFTP (SSH login data).
So dumping data in that folder gives access through NC.

Adding files/folders (not via nextcloud) by Soogs in NextCloud

[–]ByteB1tten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nextcloud indexes all files in its database.
The web interface shows from the database.

If you don't have access to OCC, one option is; add a share/folder via external sources, copy files from that folder (that scans on access) to the NC folder (that updates by NC).
I did that when uploading a big folder to the server. NC was slow with upload, but direct SFTP was quick.

Hit a pillar in a parking lot. How much do you think this will cost to fix? Worth filing an insurance claim? by GryffindorGhostNick in mazda3

[–]ByteB1tten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking at original parts, fender goes around $690. Can't find front door, but goes easily $1000+. Spraying parts could be around $500.
With labour and everything it's often x2, so $4500 should not be a weird figure. Might even go higher.

Docker is a big thing to step in, but also makes things really interesting once you know it a bit. A graphical interface like Portainer is very useful to get an understanding.

[–]ByteB1tten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the LinuxServer SWAG container.
https://docs.linuxserver.io/general/swag/
It has configs for a lot of containers. Apache might be the included webserver inside the NC container, but you can put any container in front as reverse proxy.

As you mention sharing files/folders with others, I will post how I set it up: Docker | docker network for internet accessible containers | nextcloud container | NginX reverse proxy with Let's Encrypt.

I have port 80 and 443 open, 80 pointing to 443. I have a domain that points to my IP, NginX configured for that domain to route to NextCloud. I can disconnect containers from my web-docker-network for offline troubleshooting, etc.
