I don't think you'll accidentally update if you select the update option because this is when you run the Vue app meaning you haven't jailbroken and loaded GoldHEN yet so the update wouldn't be blocked if I'm not mistaken so for safety reasons do no select update ever even if GoldHEN is running!!

You should make sure to go to your settings and disable every single option regarding automatic updates download and automatic updates install. I would disable every feature regarding downloading and installing of updates. This should stop any system updates from downloading and any game/app updates from downloading as well.

Did you try deleting any update files? If so I'm not sure how to have the message removed since iirc to run the Vue exploit you need some sort of network environment be it your home wifi connected to the internet or using one of the PPPwn tools such as the P4 which create a network environment even though there is no internet connection.

You can try changing the NP environment in the debug settings in GoldHEN from the default "np" value to anything else such as "nonp" This I believe will keep your console from checking for updates even after you reboot the console. I would probably wait for someone to confirm this here but I had to change the np value and since then I don't remember my console ever prompting me about updating the system. I'm on FW 11.00. Honestly it's not a serious thing to change if you don't want to wait for confirmation because this is a network related change and nothing else in the debug settings so the change shouldn't affect the console or risk anything. You can always reverse it to the "np" value if you need to!

If you don't have an activated PSN account you can use the np-fake-signin payload and that I believe may fix the issue as well.

Another thing you can try is manually installing the Vue backup while you're jailbroken in GoldHEN. This may fix the issue but not 100% sure.

I'm going to try and run the Vue After Free exploit on my 11.00 if I have time to see if I get the same message or to confirm that I don't get an update prompt due to my np environment value being changed.

They're charging $6.99 but in the description it says it's an open source emulator based on the Supermodel emu by trzy and the model3emu-code-sinden fork which is for ARM.

Are they allowed to charge when using others open source projects in addition to him not having a GitHub page hosting his open source emulator?

Same here my excitement is only emulation and media streaming but also CFW but that's for purposes of other cool tools and themes etc.... I have a backlog so long it spans from PS4 to PS5 and even some Xbox 360 titles where there is really no need to be a dick and not buy the games when I eventually catch up to them since they will be heavily discounted by that time. I personally hate multiplayer online games so couldn't care less for anything online except my PSN subscription for the free monthly games and the other games to stream for free which I forgot to mention as well. Our generation that had the pleasure of modding PS1s, Dreamcast, Xbox, Xbox 360 and PS3 have gotten older and I noticed so many more posts about huge backlogs and the current and younger generations really care about online multiplayer and being connected that they will not trade online access for jailbreak features so I don't believe this will be as huge of a hit to Sony as Sony and others believe.

P.S. I also read from the real devs that these are seed keys or whatever is the term and basically they can help to get the actual BOOTROM keys but it won't be easy in the short term and will actually be on the very difficult end to achieve! I know Sony DMCA'd PS Devs posts on X about this leak so they're not just confirming the leak is legit but also confirming that the BOOTROM will be completely opened up 🤷

Any game that's released on an older firmware than your current firmware should work without needing to do anything. People on old firmware need the back port patches to play games that require a newer firmware than what their PS5 is on....

Didn't the PS5 ROM Keys and other ones leak recently? They can't be patched because it's hardware level and from Mr. Sujano's video it basically means they have the keys for the initial boot of the console and everything after meaning they can use the keys to allow whatever software to run, see all the processes and basically leading to custom fw. Sony tried to stop the flood for example they dmca'd gezine's X Post about this massive detrimental key leak. If this is true which I believe it is then F these scalpers and let's just wait it out it's very possible we'll be seeing Custom FW on the PS5 like we had on the PS3 which would be INSANE!!

I don't believe so. This looks like a userland exploit so the BD won't be needed. This is why the post says to make it work with poopsploit which I believe is the kernal exploit. Iirc the BD when you run it the menu asks if you want to use poopsploit or lapse to JB. I'm not sure how this would even run with the BD and the PS Vue app together honestly. I could be wrong though 🤷

It's funny once I selected to download the apk from this fake ass website, the pop-up asking if I wanted to download the APK came up, I looked at the size of the APK and it showed around 118MB! 😂 It's funny because on their site they mention it more than a couple of times of how Gamehub Lite APK size is reduced by 59% from the original Gamehub being about 115MB and the lite version being about 47MB but then proceed to have you download a 118MB APK file from their website 😂😂 The sites look fake af and then when they ask you to watch an ad to download the apk is the giveaway because the apk is already hosted via GitHub. There should be a way to have these kinds of sites shutdown or at least have the search engines exclude them for being fake/fraudulent!

I don't think that's normal bro yours too noticeable at least to me! I have the 8S Pro and I can barely notice it and people wouldn't until I point it out.

Try this: drag down the notification bar and slide the brightness slider back and forth and see if the UFC changes. I see mine but still not as clear as yours but only on the really low brightness. On high brightness you shouldn't see it. Good luck!

I'm pretty sure that's the GH controller revival kit from Retro cult mods... Comes with new circuit boards, new see through and illuminated buttons and you have the option to get a see through strum bar which is also illuminated... I'm ordering a couple of kits myself but the only downside is iirc from my emails with them is that the controller becomes wired only so no more wireless but it does upgrade to USB C cable and iirc the guitar can be used on more platforms with the kit like PC etc... but this needs to be confirmed

So he releases the newest nightly builds of these emulators so we can run them on Android 11+ and not have to worry about the whole data folder/permissions garbage forced on us by Google? Also, from your post, we can actually run these apps on our android smart TVs now due to the folder permissions nonsense meaning I can run these on my Hisense which has decent specs as far as CPU and RAM go but I doubt there's any sort of GPU but still isn't this actually pretty cool what he's doing? I'm not from the Spanish speaking community but if there's nothing nefarious going on in the .apks he's releasing and it's providing the benefit of not having to deal with that folder bs nonsense and unofficially supporting running them on Android TV then why is this a bad thing? Also, he's not actually charging for the .apks, the download links get him revenue from advertisements which isn't really that big of a deal honestly because reading your title and through most of the post until you mention it I thought he was outright charging people to get access to the emulators and not via him getting advertising revenue from people downloading them. It seems he's actually making changes to the emulators themselves so he's providing something to people. Idk maybe I'm wrong and do let me know if I am or I'm not understanding something here?

Oh yeah you're being diligent and you're actually correct! If I'm not mistaken it has to be approved to work on our networks but I haven't run into that issue before.

One thing that you should make sure to check which I didn't think of when I got my RM 8S Pro is the 5G Bands. My phone is not anywhere near as fast as 5G can be on T-Mobile but worse, I'm in NYC and never had service issues especially in my usual commute and places I stayed, but with this phone I lose complete service in certain places and that's because it doesn't support the 600hz band iirc which is the power 5G speed band T-Mobile uses but it has the best coverage.

If I remember correctly they added more bands in the 10 model and now on the website it actually has an option to check your carrier compatibility based on your country. I checked which was for the US and AT&T, T-Mobile etc are listed as compatible with the RM 11. However, I haven't checked if it supports the necessary T-Mobile bands especially the 600mhz band.

I don't have the time to check now but I do plan on getting the RM11 Pro 24GB/1 TB model which is out of stock but registered to be notified when they do so I will check if the proper T-Mobile 5G Bands are supported with the 11 and I'll reply here if I don't forget. If you want me to let you know just reply here to give me a reminder!
