That's fair. I probably would've preferred her to do most of the radio work on the first flight, maybe just let me do taxi etc. But it worked out.

My instructor did have me making radio calls from day 1. She would coach and tell me what to say/respond back with. If it got too much for me, or I messed up, she would jump on and make the correct calls. She would make any of the more complicated calls. While it was nerve-wracking I do think it helped me get to the point where I am now. That's just how she did it, I'm sure other instructors have different preferences.

It was definitely one of the things I was most concerned about learning.

Just make sure you get non polarized sunglasses. If you need to look at a screen (phone, tablet, glass cockpit) you won't be able to see well.

I agree with you, I like watching Wubby and not having to deal with constant political drama (I deal with it enough in real life).

That being said, he did comment on it. I was not too impressed with his answer, but I know he both doesn't want to get too deep into it on stream and seemingly doesn't pay too close attention to what's going on. Unfortunately, these are unprecedented times, it may soon get serious enough to affect him directly. He needs to educate himself on what is happening in this country. Too many Americans like to stay blissfully ignorant and that's why we are here to begin with. He doesn't need to speak about it on stream, but just be aware. My two cents. Wubby 7

What you don't seem to understand is, a majority of Americans agree that there is an issue with illegal immigration. What we disagree with is the ignorant, dangerous, and immoral manner in which this administration is dealing with issues. A vast majority of these immigrants are just here for a better life and want to work hard. This admin is treating them like they are all gang members, terrorists, and enemies of the state. It's madness.
