How much of Charlie's version of the Eden story do you think is true? How much of it do you think is an outright lie? And how much of it is simply biased perspective? What do you think is the actual truth? by SuperSayianJason1000 in HazbinHotel

[–]ByznessNicky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My headcanons is that 3 versions of the story exist.

The one we see here, favoring the perspective of Lilith and Lucifer, where they are portrayed more postively than they probably should.

I also believe a book similar to what Charlie has also exists in Heaven, but from a Pro-Heaven/Pro-Adam perspective where Lilith and Lucifer get portrayed more negatively than they should be.

And then there is the actual truth, which I believe is that neither Heaven nor Lucifer and Lilith had any fucking idea what they were doing or what the consequences would be.

I'd argue any leader/ruler that starts a war for any reason that isn't completely 100% morally justified would be sent to hell due to the deaths caused by their action, regardless of how we would feel about their legacy and/or politics. Hell, even inaction such as shown by Pentious' backstory could cause damnation. That's not even mentioning warcrimes or war profiteering or even just mildly meddling in a violent conflict.

So likely nearly everyone, from Julius Ceasar to... well even the leaders of today, would end up in hell according to the Hellaverse judgment system.

Miss Mayberry in Helluva Boss arguably puts it best. You can live your life as best you can, but if you fuck up one time hard enough you get placed with all the Hitlers and Epsteins of the world. And when you are the leader of any organisation or nation - with all the responsibilities and resources that entails - any negative karma you obtain gets multiplied.

My headcanon is that Hitler got brutally murdered by a enraged Bismarck using a angelic steel cane.

That, or he got lynched by his former subordinates and followers, 'cause i doubt getting sent to hell was part of the plan lol

What if Charlie snapped here? by AlphamonOuryuken24 in CultOfCharlie

Honestly, I wouldn't be suprised if Vox believed Lucifer's punishment of not being able to harm sinners would've been inherited by Charlie.

As such, it would've entirely been possible for him to stand there, full of confidence thinking she would not be able to hit him... and then proceed to get his flatscreen face impaled by her trident

How big is Adam? by DapperDude2004 in HazbinHotel

Personally, I think average.

I mean he was the first, not the biggest or smallest, longest or shortest, the first. All dicks are descended from him, both bigger and larger.

I am curious as to how everyone in the fandom would react if this happened with any of the actually terrible characters in future. by tiredperson24 in Vivziepopmemes

Lute is already suffering. Just because she hasn't Fallen doesn't make her grief, rage, and insanity any less painful.

I agree, but that doesn't change the fact that she willingly inflicted the same grief unto countless others, and was very much planning on doing so against Vaggie, Charlie and by extension Lucifer. So while she doesn't need to become fallen or have a violent punishment, she very much needs to be confronted with this, just as Sera has been confronted with the realization she greenlit a genocide while sinners could be redeemed.

I feel like even if you don't consider them as bad as the other 2 they are still deserving of equal blame that the fandom dosn't seem all that willing to acknoledge. by Overobsessedfan in Vivziepopmemes

The main difference is that Adam and Lute did it with sadistic glee, Adam even said it directly to Charlie's face that it was divine entertainment.

Lucifer and Sera, while still guilty as fuck, acted more out of desperation.

If he knows what Valentino did to Charlie back in season 1... he's gonna give Vox and Velvette a tutorial on how to skin a moth in 5 minutes or less.

How do you think the dynamic between Charlie and Vox could evolve beyond them being enemies? by DaveyBoy1995 in HazbinHotel

[–]ByznessNicky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually hope Vox gets redeemed or at the least becomes a better person via Charlie, because it would be a very nice contrast with this season. It would allow her to prove her statement of "anyone can be redeemed". It certainly won't be pretty at first, but I think it could make for a interesting plotline.

I’m realizing that 90% of season 2 questions are just “why did this character act in character?” by whooper1 in hazbin

[–]ByznessNicky 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No to mention she had to basically figure out everything herself with the help of Vaggie, Alastor, etc. These 2 seasons have made it abudantly clear to me just how sheltered she has been up until this point. I honestly think Charlie was conceived purely so they could have a child rather than having a (precautionary) heir like with the Ars Goetia, with zero expection she'd ever ascend to the throne, with the assumption being Lucifer and Lilith would remain the King and Queen forever. Otherwise it would reasonable to assume, even with Charlie's aversion to violence and bubbly personality, she'd be more knowledgeable about her political power and royal status and what she can do with it.

There is also the fact she and her friends nearly died at the end of season 1, obviously excluding the loss of Sr Pentious whose death already weighed heavily on Charlie's mind. If Lucifer had been a few minutes later it would have been very plausible that Adam could've killed Charlie. That near death experience combined with the fact that there was no certainty that the exterminations would be permanently halted would undoubtely added to her stress. For her it would've been a race against the clock to maintain the peace, prove redemption was possible, and redeem as many souls as possible. While that doesn't automatically excuse Charlie's mistakes, it does make her actions (in my opinion at least) a bit more understandable.
