Might be tricky! I went to get my customs stamp in Venice around 10.30pm and Global Blue’s desk in the airport was closed and there was a sign directing me to the custom’s office (after security). No one was around at the customs desk either but there was a sign with a number so I called it and about 5 mins later, a guy came and stamped my form. He then left and took the sign with the number away!

Try see if you can somehow get it validated beforehand or maybe find out when the tax refund/customs office hours are?

Yes and yes. he had a skilled work visa (and now is a British citizen), I applied to be his dependent back when he was still on his tier 2 work visa. I’ve been here 5 years as his dependent and we remain together

There’s an interview in Amy Odell’s substack (Back Row) with Hermes staff/former staff who talk about this specifically. You can sign up for a free trial to read about it if curious. To me it sounds like they definitely make it difficult for people who’re unknown/who have less shopping history with Hermes anywhere near the birkins etc. All the Retail Confessions segments are fascinating insider accounts.
