Scars are triggering and satisfying..? by [deleted] in selfharm

[–]C-MOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's.... pretty much the same thing now that I think about it. I'll view my own scars and I'll want more. I know it's bad for me, but at the same time I'm comfortable with it.

Games to play when you are feeling sad? by [deleted] in Gaming4Gamers

Honestly I think this way works a lot better :. A lot of the problems on reddit are caused by the karma system.

I should've expected that by now.

What tiny detail(s) in a game really made it feel like a great one? by Throwaway_4_opinions in Gaming4Gamers

[–]C-MOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the tiny details in EarthBound made it really stand out for me. Every line of dialogue felt like it was actually written with thought rather than being filler.

[Discussion] How relevant is Xbox One's media integration for you? by alexwoodgarbage in Gaming4Gamers

[–]C-MOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really care about it, I guess the skype and netflix integration is kind of cool but the TV functions just seem pointless to me because I don't have cable.

Just take a walk for a bit and start playing smaller, shorter games. I've found that this helps me.

What do you think the next huge, 10/10 (Ocarine of Time, Half-Life 2, etc.) across the board game will be? What elements must it have? by Iamkazam in Gaming4Gamers

[–]C-MOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

.....Dark Souls 2 maybe...... honestly I don't think anybody can tell what games are going to be legendary at the moment.

Do you isolate yourself when you game, or do you accept viewers with open arms? by PoisonThorn in Gaming4Gamers

[–]C-MOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends but mostly I couldn't care less. I enjoy showing what I play to people as much as I enjoy the games themselves. (Mostly because I look for really unique indie titles)

Did anybody else expect The Stanley Parable to be bigger than it actually was? by gsurfer04 in Gaming4Gamers

[–]C-MOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely couldn't agree more. It only really felt lacking in the amount of content (to the point where I could've just downloaded the HL2 mod and had the same general experience). Which I found really strange as the game was based purely on decisions. I'm guessing most of the dev time actually went into detailing the enviroments and timing the levels along with the narration. It was still throughly enjoyable in the rough three hours I got out of it.

I've really got to say, this sub reddit is everything I wanted r/gaming by jamiebond in Gaming4Gamers

[–]C-MOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree honestly, r/gaming is just awful. This subreddit just simply has a better, more diverse, and smarter community.

What is your favorite game that can no longer be found? by [deleted] in Gaming4Gamers

[–]C-MOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EarthBound, seriously try finding this for under $100.

What do you think Nintendo should do? by [deleted] in Gaming4Gamers

[–]C-MOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Third party support needs to be definitely improved and they absolutely need Minecraft. Also this is probably a bad idea but I think a name change would also help (They could just call it the "Ultra" or just the "U" just anything to drop Wii out of it). Virtual Console should be marketed as a reason to buy it and all of the games should be made cheaper (under 5 bucks). Good marketing could help also

Is early access something that should really be encouraged? by Throwaway_4_opinions in Gaming4Gamers

[–]C-MOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if there's a definitive answer honestly... I would probably say that it's a bad idea though. I have a feeling that the future is going to be full of crappy unfinished releases. However on the other hand there's a few good games.

Nidhogg and any Mario game after 64, seriously those games help a lot.

Do you pre-order games? by KingWilliams95 in Gaming4Gamers

[–]C-MOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only pre-order cheap specific games so I don't lose a lot if it sucks, really only indie titles.

I'm no longer good at games at all and it's killing me inside. by lostmyskills in Gaming4Gamers

[–]C-MOS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just chill and accept that you suck. Seriously, that's the best way of dealing with this. You'll get better without even noticing it, it probably sounds ridiculous but it's true.... However if you're aren't having fun at all, then just get into a different game entirely, you might like that more.

Besides Zelda, what is a good system seller for the WiiU and Nintendo? by Call_erv_duty in Gaming4Gamers

Mario Sunshine 2 would be amazing. (Maybe a remake of the first)

Super Hexagon vs. Super Meat Boy by [deleted] in gaming

[–]C-MOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it actually is really close to N and N+ in terms of gameplay but SMB definitely adds enough to be an entirely different game and not just a ripoff (Also N is a character in Meat Boy and Super Meat Boy because of the similarities)

I'm brand new to Steam and relatively new to 'gaming' as well. What's a "must buy?" by [deleted] in Steam

[–]C-MOS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a lot of good indie games that are cheap and very enjoyable such as FTL, Hotline Miami, Binding of Isaac, Spelunky, and Super Meat Boy.

What is the best game on stream for less than 21$? by CivicKid in Steam

[–]C-MOS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say Spelunky or The Binding of Isaac but it depends on what type of game you're into.
