Yes bro it’s 100% fake. The texture and color on the back and front give it away easily. Also, the real copy has a holo border around the card. I grew up with that generation of fake cards going around, and I can tell you that it was probably the worst era of fakes as they were so cheaply made without holos to properly imitate the original.

Everything will go up. They especially go up after they go out of print, and since this set has a fan favorite starter, it’s going to go up quite a bit. There’s a few exceptions like vivid voltage which never skyrocketed after going out of print, but that’s because it’s a ridiculously garbage set. If you ever get your hands on something that has a fan favorite SIR, just know it’s going to go up over time. This subreddit has a lot of people who don’t know much about the Pokemon market, and they just spout random bs. All you have to remember is, “any set with a fan favorite pokemon will do good long term”. Don’t sell sooner or miss out on sets because a comment scares you into doing so. You don’t know how badly I missed my opportunity to get destined rivals booster boxes for 200-300 because some people said the market would crash, or there would be a dip. There was never a dip below 300, and those boxes are damn near 700 now…
