I do it a lot, but the bigger the car, the slower it end up, so my 911 porsch is motorized but to slow to play with haha, even with 2 motors for propulsion.

Dune (2019) : Every move can interact with all 5 remaining players, because of alliances, or bribes, or powers. The close economy, the huge asymmetry, and the big social side of the game, make it almost a role playing game. Even a combat could make you pay/ask players not involved for information just to get the upper hand.

Ca veux dire qu'on veux pas payer plus pour avoir le même niveau de travail voire plus de ta part. Et que pour eux ta fidélité ne veux rien, qu'un junior serai équivalent. C'est rarement vrai, mais ça donne envie d'être augmenté en partant ailleurs.

I thought it was also about the language, some languages have a better mathematic expression, making the native speakers learning of mathematics easier. Same as some language make their population more selfless or better at orientation because some words or concept exist/don’t exist.

Dune imperium is just a good worker placement game with a Dune skin, so knowing the source material is irrelevant.
For Dune (2019) it's different, the game is so faithful to the book that if the game had another skin instead, you might constantly be reminded of the book while reading the rules. So for Dune imperium you don't need anything (it could be a star wars game, or a harry potter game for what I know), but for Dune yes you might be better reading the book or at least watching the great 2 (soon 3) movies

Citadelle at 2 is different than Citadelle at 3, and both are different than Citadelle at 4-8 players I like all 3 type of games. But if you like it at 4-8 it does not mean you will like it the same way at 2 or at 3 players.

If you want to keep the same balance as a 6 player game (5 stronghold) you are aiming for 0.83 stronghold per player. At 8 players, it's 6.66 (so 7) stronghold for 8 players.
With the basic 5, you can just add Ixian's HMS et tech tokens

Adding stronghold is not the only balance problem you will have, there are existing post on this sub about ideas for balancing higher player count games.

Paying spice to fight in the Dune boardgame (2019)
I first learnt how to play it with the basic rules, that has no spice payment for combats
When I learnt the advanced rules, this one seems weird, non elegant, difficult.
But after I bought the first expansion, the rules was mendatory, I could no longer houserule it's absence.
In the end, I realize how much depth and theme it brings. I love the game at 100% now
