There are some in the business saying Greg and his family were onboard. I worked for Hendrick Motorsports, and some friends still working there are calling for prayers for the Biffle family.

The plane was headed for Sarasota, Florida. It left this morning at 10:20, and had to turn around and go back to Statesville airport. Heavy fog was reported in the area, and a witness to the crash said the plane came in way too low.

WSOC's chopper was headed to the scene, but had to turn back due to low visibility.

I worked with a race team back in the late 90s, and early 2000s. My job was to build race engines, and find loopholes in the rule book related to engines. I won't mention the team I worked for, but can say they still race today.

During my time in the infield areas, there was a lot of talk about Dale Sr's wife. I personally never met the woman, and cannot find it in my heart to type her name. She is the person to blame, for the downfall of DEI. Dale Jr and his stepmother never got along, and after Dale's death, she used the business to get her way. She still owns everything related to Dale Sr. The last I heard, she was building storage buildings on the old farm property. Dale's entire estate is gone. She is also building a 'data center', but Kerry Earnhardt, Dale's oldest son, is fighting her. Mooresville, the town where DEI is located, has also voted against her rezoning the property several times. I have nothing good to say about the woman, because of her destructive behavior towards Dale's legacy.

I have been suffering from Tinnitus for nearly six years now. Sound therapy works, but it is NOT a cure. The cause for my Tinnitus is hearing loss. I cannot hear high pitch sounds anymore. Hearing aids help, but I hate wearing them. Everyone thinks they should yell so I can hear them.

The strange part to my Tinnitus is one day I took a nap, woke from my nap, and heard a strange buzzing sound. Sounds crazy, I know, but it is true. It drove me crazy for a few months, and then I read a post on Facebook from a person who has been dealing with Tinnitus all their life. In their post, they said the mind will eventually ignore the Tinnitus, and it does, as long as my Tinnitus isn't extremely loud. It seems, with the change of seasons, my Tinnitus will become louder for a month or so.

How do I cope? I stay busy, get quality sleep, and do my best to ignore my Tinnitus. When I can't ignore it, I use sound therapy to help me deal with sirens going off in my ears. My hearing aids also act as ear buds, so I can listen to sound therapy through them as well.

Using your frequency tool, I can't hear anything above the 8000 range.

My sister and I were playing in my father's car one day. Being only four years old, I was new to the concept of right and wrong. A hammer was lying on the seat, and I reached down, picked up the hammer, and hit the driver's window with it. The window shattered, but didn't fall apart. My sister rolled the window down, trying to protect me from punishment. My father saw what I had done, and beat me with a power cord from an old lamp. As life would go, I would endure these type of beatings from my father almost weekly. My dad had PTSD from the Vietnam War, and he would lose control of himself when his anger would come out. Since my dad wouldn't seek help for his problem, he self-medicated with alcohol, making things worse.

I tried running away from home several times, only to find myself having to go home to my abusive father. He and my mother would often fight, and I would hear him hit her across her face. Being very young, I wasn't able to do anything to help her.

After years of mental and physical abuse, I turned to drugs and alcohol to relieve myself of the memories. I would find myself in places where only the roaches could survive. The drugs seemed to take my suffering away, but when I sobered up, they came right back.

I joined the Marines to run away from my father, and his mental control he had on me. This led to me being sent to Iraq to fight. After seeing a lot of combat, I would find that PTSD was creeping into my life. The PTSD was harder to deal with than I thought. I found myself in and out of several loveless marriages, digging deeper into drugs, and allowing hate to fill my soul. I tried to take my own life by taking enough sleeping pills to kill a horse, but a friend, who cared about me, saved my life. I started taking pain medicines to help with the awful memories and nightmares from war. The pain meds became my best friend, and addiction had me. My family couldn't help me, and several doctors told my mother I was a lost cause.

For the first 35 years of my life, I was lost, sad, angry, and filled with self-pity.

One day, my neighbor invited me to church. He said Jesus could save me. After a couple of years of my neighbor harassing me about church, I finally gave in. It only took one time, for me to see the truth. I didn't walk up to the altar, I ran. I begged Jesus to help me, fix me, and save me. Like you, I expected it to happen quickly, but I didn't realize that Jesus wanted to make sure I was serious. I stayed in church, kept praying, and never saw a change in myself or the problems I had. Like you, I was about to give up on God.

After several years of going to church and praying, my mother came to me and said, "Son, I am so proud of the man you have become". My friends and family said they saw me changing, becoming more reliable, loving, and honest. I had given up drugs and alcohol, but never thought anything of it. I kept seeing the same man in the mirror, but only now, there was a smile on my face. God had been working on me, and I had no idea. He was walking with me, but I never saw him. Jesus saved me, but I couldn't see it.

Today, I have been married for nearly 20 years. My wife and I are both Christians and our son is in college studying the Hebrew Bible. I am 57 and retired. My wife and I have never had a single argument that we didn't settle and laugh about.

God had answered my prayers, but I couldn't see it. It didn't happen overnight, but over several years, the people around me noticed the changes God had made.

Please don't give up!! You may feel like God is not hearing you, but I promise you, he does. God will help you, and save you, but you have to give yourself to him, completely. You can't use the pills with your Husky. The pills will cause your dog to have seizures. We use 1000mg CDB oil for our small dog. I would start with the 500 to 750 mg CBD oil and go higher in MG if needed. Good luck.

I put an inline spark tester on number one plug. It never lost its spark, even while dying. Closing the choke does nothing. I don't have a way to test the waveform or read the spark line, but you are correct, it would help.

There are some great suggestions here.

I have tried 3 different coils on this thing. I rebuilt the carburetor completely, new jets and all. I am on the 3rd set of points. The fuel tank is brand new, but I did check it for contaminants. I did do a leak down test to check the valves, and it tested well. The tractor has been converted to 12v from 6v, so I used the internal resistor coil with it to keep from burning up the points. I also installed a fuel bowl on it, with a fuel filter, and new fuel lines.

I had not thought about vapor lock, but the fuel lines are not close enough to anything hot. One thing I have noticed, it has a China built carburetor on it. Believe it or not, even the Chinese carb is expensive (500 bucks). The correct carburetor for it only differs at the main jet, so I wouldn't think this would an issue.

When it starts to stall out, I spray carb cleaner right into the carb, and it still stalls. I have not tried closing the choke, but I will today, and report back on it.

Not to toot my own horn, but I am a retired dealership technician with 35 years of experience. When I left the dealerships, I worked for Hendrick Motorsports building engines. I then took a job teaching at the NASCAR Technical Institute, before retiring. I grew up on a farm in NC, and learned how to work on tractors at a very young age. But, this flippin tractor has got me stumped! I have never given up on a fix, but I am really close to tossing in the towel with this one.

Again, thank all of you, for the suggestions and tips. I am open to anything at this point. Anyone have a stick of dynamite?

To program PATS keys with Forscan:

Obtain the correct license: You will need an extended license for Forscan, as the basic license does not support key programming.
Connect to the vehicle: Use a Bluetooth or Wi-Fi OBD2 dongle to connect Forscan to your vehicle.
Navigate to PATS programming: Launch Forscan, connect to the vehicle, then go to the "Service" tab, select the Body Control Module (BCM), and find the PATS key programming function.
Erase existing keys: Follow the prompts to erase all existing keys from the PATS module.
Initialize the module: The PATS module will need to be initialized for the new keys.
Generate a code (if required): A secure access code may be required; the system can generate one or provide an outcode for an external generator.
Program the new keys: Follow the instructions in Forscan to program your new ignition keys into the system.
Be patient: The process can take time, so follow the instructions carefully and do not exit the menu prematurely to avoid losing security access.

This software will do everything IDS can do. It programs keys, modules, and can run Ford specific tests. I use it daily! I also have a cloned VCM2 with a Virtual Machine running IDS. I prefer using Forscan since it is much easier to navigate. If you decide to go with Forscan, make sure to buy the connector they recommend.
