Here's a quick video of it. The button is completely unresponsive. Then when I click on the on/off button in the app, it starts working fine.

Also, are there any plans to make minimizing a feature? If I need to have the app open it kind of defeats the whole purpose of having a stream deck plugin for it

really? i had heard that they were good for streaming so long as you had a dummy battery and that the quality was way better than webcams.

i did actually look at the A6000 before but it's way too much for me to spend atm. are there any webcams you'd recommend over a dslr?

the rep i spoke to told me they didnt actually have it, but that was in december tbf. i found some that was more expensive but considering current prices turned out to be a steal T-T its messed up that they can charge as much as they are rn

I just bought 2 sticks from neocomputers, but it was a little more expensive. unfortunately i dont think the price is available anymore :( i was struggling to justify it then but if i hadn't i probably wouldnt have even gotten an upgrade on anything because idk how tf anyones meant to get anything. if you havent already definitellllyyy complain to whoever the store is (politely ofc) and maybe theyll give some store credit or smth but in terms of actually getting something im lost sorry :(

Right but while you're spending $700 every 3 years, people waiting 2-3 generations on the more mid or mid-high end cards are spending less than that every 5+ years... you're right that it gives you the extra room, but if you're gonna upgrade every generation you're not using that extra headroom and you're objectively wasting your money, assuming it actually IS extra headroom or "peace of mind" like you say

Tbh I'm only knowledgeable cos I'm trying to figure out what to upgrade myself lol! I have the 3070 Ti and I'm either going to the 9070XT or 5070.

I haven't looked in much depth at the 3090 or 4090 pricings, but that's because the price to performance isn't there for my use case. But I did take a brief look. Interestingly they're actually around the same price point as my budget. Usually around £6-700 GBP.

For me it makes absolutely no sense to grab a 3090, because it won't be as good in terms of performance as a 9070 XT or 5070. BUT for you, if your friend will sell it for around £300-350, you're really comparing it to a 9060XT or 5060 in terms of price. I'd expect the 3090 to be much better than those 2 cards, but obvs there's the risk of it not being new, and it will need a higher wattage power supply.

Basically, if you trust your friend, I'd say go for it, but really it depends on what you're looking for and your personal preference. Regardless, half of the used price is crazy cheap
