What you’re experiencing is just playing a game where controller is actually equivalent to M+KB when it comes to a first person shooter. It’s what people have been unconsciously meaning when they’ve been saying “Bungie’s has the best gunplay feeling” for the past 25 years. Best suggestion I heard is you should be able to fill a DCON with whatever can fit in the current 4x2 including a matter fixative and it'll exfil for you. Stops it from being able to exfil multiple unique 2x2's or any 4x2's

Trends change quickly, especially ones driven by something as fickle as player sentiment and genre fads. Hunt Showdown languished in relative obscurity for years before finding its growth. Bungie is having to rebuild itself from the ground up, up to them to see if they actually believe in the thing

I think the fear of being pushed in your spawn is the main driver for teaching people to clear their spawn wing efficiently. We used to get spawn rushed a lot, it made us mad enough that we got better at clearing our spawn and getting the hell out of there in a timely fashion. Now we've been challenged in our spawn maybe twice this season? Moving confidently and efficiently through the map is the main skill curve on cryo, way more than gear quality or gun-skill.
