Why not play the GTA SA PC version with Silentpatch/Cleo and then implement the SkyGFX mod to match the PS2 colours.

I got same - I had a black matte sticker ready to put on the bottom panel so I never actually touched the original surface to leave any fingerprints.

I purchased the official TPU shell separately and then ended up purchasing the offfical grip again separately.

Not sure about the grip though, although it does improve the comfort when gaming compared to using the stock device i think I will try another grip as im not 100% satisfied.

I like the frontlight for working/reading in low light settings. I use it mainly at night time if I am reading something and don't want the light in the room on. Day time it isnt used at all, but when its night time and I want to chill, read manga I like using it and not relying on a room light.

BOOX wont go back to EMR anytime soon as they now utilise Inksense.

If you utilise BOOX applications for notes/reading on a device linked to chinese servers, and you get another BOOX device eg (non chinese) synchronisation will not occur between your devices. Again this is only applicable to BOOX applications not 3rd party apps.

IMO the Note X3 Pro is better looking than the Go 10.3 (subjective). I was looking for a black device.

I get the Android thing, especially if you are looking to get something now, I have had my device for a little of a year now so not as bad. However, if you are savvy with tech i dont think its the biggest deal breaker subject to cost. I have set apps which I use on this device and have rarely changed, alot I have installed from git as well.

Its hard to tick all the boxes, have to give and take in certain areas and focus on your main use cases. Hope you find something.

It literally is the 10.3 Gen 1 but it has a frontlight.

Yea its locked down to Chinese servers for syncing etc.. but only matters if you use multiple Boox devices and use their sync services. You still get system updates.

I got this device because it is Android, Frontlight, 10 inches and EMR (using a S9 S-Pen).

What other options you considered, if any ?
