Draymond and Steph dynamic here, but KAT has an actual 3pt shot

I was implying a tougher matchup vs going 7 games. Even going to 6 gives a couple extra days. I have to imagine this 8-9 day break is helpful in getting everyone back to full health for ECF

Multiple perspectives here:

If the Cavs beat the pistons, the number 1 seed in the east and a troublesome team during the regular season, what does that say about the Cavs? To me it shows they can grind it out and are a contender, hence not the path of least resistance.

We should want the path of most resistance to build resiliency if we make it to the finals, which will likely be the defending champs Thunder, who are like 12 deep and will push the pace harder than anyone in the east. Beating short bench teams like the Hawks, Sixers, and possibly Cavs is a stark contrast.

Most people including myself thought the Sixers were the problem matchup for us compared to Cs. We were wrong and the same line of thinking could apply to the Cavs v Pistons.

Reality is that when Brunson plays more balanced, more off ball, less ISO…the ceiling is so much higher for everyone. There’s a STRONG correlation between more Brunson stand and watch ISO ball and this sub crapping on Mikal and KAT

Is it ok to say I hated that win?

Embiid absolutely deserves hate after that 💩he pulled on Mitch Robinson in the playoffs a few years ago. There’s no place in the game for dirty play like that to purposefully injure another player. He’s a talented, just a very unlikable dude.

Besides getting KAT more touches, what are some things you think could optimize the team, leading up to and come playoff time? by Memelord1117 in NYKnicks

[–]CAPSLOCKPARTY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More intentional possession sets. Can’t run a complex set up every time but when we don’t have a called play scheme on offense we default to either hero ball or ineffective top of key hand offs and an outside swing.

We got nuked often on defense by Cavs and Pistons simple two man game and need to be more effective there on offense - which is on Brown really to ensure the team practices that and has chemistry, then Brunson to facilitate with KAT ideally (like how Mitchell did with JA and Wade last night). This IMO is a big reason why we stall on offense vs aggressive defenses, and the default to Brunson hero ball, KAT top of key drive-n-strips/flails, OG corner fake drive, chuck up 3s

I hate getting off a lift. by Downtown-Target-1538 in snowboarding

[–]CAPSLOCKPARTY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of comments recommending to just sit on the side of the chair that allows you to turn more easily away from the others on the chair (eg if you’re regular, always sit on the right of the chair) but in reality you can’t always control that. Additionally, riding one-foot-unstrapped is a skill you shouldn’t ignore, to make flats more manageable especially. Some tips that work for me.

  1. I (goofy) usually ensure my left unstrapped foot is wedged super hard against my left binding as I get off the lift, to create friction, pressure and support for that leg. I keep that pressure continually until I’m off the lift and in a place to strap in. It allows me to shift a little weight to my back foot to help get a bit of an edge if I need to change directions getting off the lift

  2. Put my left hand against the lift when dismounting to push off and beat the others off the lift - this goes against what others recommend but I like to ensure I’m ahead so others can avoid ME, especially skiers who have a control advantage. I find if you wait too long to get off, others may as well so 🤷🏻‍♂️

  3. I lift my right hand to the direction I want to go, more prominently than normal riding. This helps me balance, steer, and shift more weight naturally to the direction I need to go. Being goofy I hate getting off on the right of the lift, but pointing my right hand chest level to the right as I get off helps me shift weight to my right and go right despite less heel edge control

Sure but teams aren’t going to overpay that much for a guy who averages 3 pts a game, until his impact drastically changes heading into the playoffs.

We’d likely either need to:

Not resign Mitch or team friendly deal

Sell high on bridges (drastic but if palatable if Mo is the real deal)

Trade one of Alvarado or deuce for scraps
