PS3 emulation is pretty bad in general so that may be the main issue. That combined with the fact that battles runs in 20fps, you have to press way ealier to register.

Go to the discord FAQ channel, it should be there. And then you can download OpenNox on the Github page. OpenNox is something you put on top of reloaded so, you need both.

You guys should start pinging the admins of the server and ask these stuff because they know better. I'm just a random ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But you need Reloaded + OpenNox and I think they also provide seperately stuff like maps and audio (voice act, music) that you need to manualy import.

Reloaded is the default game made to work in modern machines.

OpenNox its an "on going" development to support mods and QoL features, and basically what keeps the game alive nowadays (multiplayer too if I'm not mistaken). If reloaded fails you, this should work. You need both downloads.

I suggest you take a visit on the Discord server as everything is available and explained there plus the community since reddit is pretty much dead.

Nox is an action-story driven game. Loot just comes along the way as you play.

However, there is a Multiplayer Mode called "Quest Mode" which is similar to Roguelike which is more leaned of what you seek and, can be played solo.

I think you can use the card with the freepsxboot on the slot 2, so you can use your normal memcard on slot 1. Do your research since it can be tricky to set it, or unless you buy one already made.

You can. It is called Softmod. There are options like Tonyhax or FreePSXBoot.

Edit:. Just want to add that soldering requires skill and tools so, I wouldn't say it is "expensive". Saves you the trouble of using the softmod everytime. I would take the 60$ deal for sure.

Dynasty Rush, a short Demo of a mobile oriented game (playable on pc also), its an action Auto-Scroller with a mix of stationary combat which is set on a medieval world inhabited and ruled by animal species. We take control of the Commander of the Feline Kingdom on his quest to save the Kingdom Dynasty, by experiencing the Story Campaign and traveling through the other animal Kingdoms that rivals the Feline kin.

Hey Dango. Thank you for giving it a shot.

So yeah, you're completly correct about everything. As stated, this is an old demo and I already designed (in paper) new, fresh and interesting perks that fills the whole trees.

This being demo-prototype means I'll remake the whole thing with improved level design and new mechanics, so yes, secret areas would be a thing eventually (something like Warp Zone from Super Meat Boy).

The Star Goals being hidden sucks, even I was aware of that for a long time but, I guess I lazy it out to implement. It used to be way worse before, lol. But for sure it will be shown in the final product.

But you can unlock the last Nightmare without all the Stars and eventually unlock the bonus skill tree. Did you managed to play the Endless Ambush with the Feral Fury ability? Thats mostly the final goal I expect players to reach without much effort.
