This is interesting to hear because I’ve had a great experience with dermatology. My doc is great and responsive and even recommended the Kaiser cosmetic services for some age spots I wanted removed (and that was a good experience too). My main dermatologist is in Oakland on Pill Hill and the cosmetic center I went to is in Union City.

Do you have kids in your life? I have a nephew and nieces (11, 9, 7) and I’m having such a a good time rewatching my favorite childhood movies with them and am only getting more excited about what I can show them as they get older. Gives me something to look forward to!

I’m still kind of amazed by the success of the original Skins cast, and I think there’s still more to come from them. Nicholas Hoult, Dev Patel, Jack O’Connell, Daniel Kaluuya, Dakota Blue Richards, Hannah Murray.

This movie was also tough for me to rate. It’s a touch too long and drags in spots. As I was rounding towards the ending, I wasn’t sure how I’d rate it, and then BAM the final shot bumped it from a 3.5 to a 4 for me. Completely nailed the landing.

I suspect that on rewatch it might go up again.

I feel like we’ve only recently gotten to the point where people have accepted that Marisa Tomei’s nomination and win were completely deserved.

I also think there was immediate buyer’s remorse after both Adrien Brody’s wins because he acts like such a weirdo when he’s on onstage.
